Compete without fear

This topic just brought back memories of in the beginning.
Must have been the early 80s when I got my introduction to 9 ball with the Big Guns at the White Spot in Fife, WA. I was green and totally intimidated by the top players of the North Wet. I recall thinking, "I will be fine as soon as my hands stop shaking. " Then the epiphany, "I better learn to shot with my hands shaking, as they ain't going to stop until I Make A Ball!"

Favorite tips so far.

Thanks for the feedback. Crisp is a good word because the tips I have been trying felt a little mushy but I thought that was because they were softs.

I'll take a look at the Zan and the other tips you mentioned for break/jump.
Some Soft tips still feel more crisp, while others have more of that mushy feel. Kamui black soft for instance has a pretty muted feel. While Caiden, Zan and Tiger has a much crisper feel.
I sell all the big brands and do about a thousand tip changes in a year, so I get to try all kinds of combinations. I also have my own Shore scale testing station, so I don't have to rely on the random numbers floating out there.
