Oops I did it again (Yapp's) foul in a final, a second time!

What I'm noticing as a general theme on these "was the ref wrong" threads, is that people care less and less. At first, it was: "can you believe the ref made the wrong call, he should be fired, the player should have called the foul on himself as well" sort of reactions. Now, it's more: "the ref might have gotten it wrong, but his call is final, and that's just the way the game is played".

Its no big deal, its just a judgment call that's sometimes wrong.

Gold Crown 7 Revealed

I love a well set up Gold Crown.
I have one in my basement. Always loved Gold Crowns. Majestic heavy tables.

I love Diamonds too.
I play on Diamonds almost every day
And love them.

Adjust. Diamond owns the table market in poolrooms.
Brunswick relinquished their dominance on purpose.
They threw their R&D dollars elsewhere
into their other divisions believing pool was dying. Pool is on a big upswing now. Brunswick put themselves behind the 8 ball.
The Brunswick today is a brand new company, and they are coming at the market with some force. Its no longer the boat company or the exercise company that didn't give a hoot about billiards after 1980.

Gold Crown 7 Revealed

I heard somewhere on hear that rails felt like plastic and seemd to scratch easily. What did you notice.
I heard the same and was looking at that. I didn't see any scratches, but I did see what seemed like staining from hand oil. What amounted to a few shiny spots here and there. I'll go back tonight maybe take some pictures.

Of note, the table was in the Brunswick booth and pushed up against a curtain. So any play on it would have been very minimal since not all sides of the table were accessible. I was there at midnight when the exhibits were closed. I stole some striped balls from an open table my buddies were playing 9 ball on, and played on the GC7 for an hour or so.
