You didn't address the original complaint about the chalk... Which was a (possible) skid caused by Master chalk.
Well, I did not intend to address the skid complaint, which as you mentioned, is a possible. I do not think we will ever know for sure. I have the habit of not jumping to conclusions on the cause of something if I have not seen it. If it had been very obvious and the whole world had seen it in a clear way, nobody would be arguing or questioning if it's true or not. It is simply not clear enough.
I cannot give an opinion on something that to my knowledge I have never experienced. If it has happened to me, I never noticed it, as I am usually putting my mind on other things and if I miss a shot, I go sit down and pay for my mistake. For all I know, my misses, and losses, have been my own doing and not equipment related as I do not have interest in scientifically dissecting every theory or myth. I think Dr. Dave's videos addresses the "skid" deal pretty well.
I also cannot address the complaint when there are other factors that can cause a skid. For that reason, I cannot jump in the bandwagon and just blame the chalk when there could be more factors, that make sense, as possible culprits.
The purpose was to give my general opinion on the views and the whole drama going on with chalk, of all things.
