4-6 point cues with colored veneers and linen wraps are my favorite

That’s the one I got. I like it. I see what skor is saying on the skinny points. But for whatever reason it doesn’t seem that noticeable in person. That kind of thing can bother me, but on this cue it doesn’t.

Yeah, I like the wider points and veneers, where I can imagine them coming together below the wrap. Like on a Titlist cue for example.

Did Adam ever build Karella cues?

I can see my post is misleading or plain incorrect . Don says he never walked away from Karella.

Did Tascarella design the line of cues that this cue came from? That is pretty cool if he did. I wish that I could find the 2nd half of this Colored brochure. This site only showed the 1st half of this line of cues. From K-2 through K-7. Is this the same line that my cue came from? K-11? Just out of curiosity, it would be cool to learn what this cue retailed for. Do you think these cues were as good quality as the Falcon line of cues? Thanks for all the info.

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

I have not seen anyone mention lights or the light reflection on the object ball. I use that a lot when I can, I know I cant be the only one who does that.
A guy explained the reflection method years ago and it made perfect sense. Now I can't even picture it. May be useful for actual players - take the sweat out of certain shots.

Identify this GC model???

I'm jealous! my rails have a decent number of dents etc... not sure it would be worth the cost to repair or replace... it does nag me though.

The Formica can be worked and painted the same way as automotive body work is done. My GCI had several cigarette burns, so I sanded it, filled the burns and dents, then painted. I'm not a huge fan of wood grain Formica to begin with, so I was happy to have something different.

Did Adam ever build Karella cues?

Edit: Thanks a lot to "Cornerman" below, for letting me know that this Karella cue was probably built by KPS in Taiwan (maybe in the late 80's, he said), in Ernie Chen's pool cue factory. The same factory that built Falcon cues, I believe.
I’ll re-ask on the date as I think he made a mistake. (Edit: he’s now saying early 90’s)
