Funky ball sets. WTF

2 1/8 is the American size for snooker balls. I'm guessing that those balls are for Americans to play American pool on American snooker tables. Real snooker balls are about 2 1/16.

American snooker sets also commit the atrocities of numbering the "colours" and having an orange six ball.
Hell with it, make all the balls orange. Just to make @Fatboy happy.

Mosconi Cup 2025, Dec. 3-6, Alexandra Palace, London

“How the hell is Hatch in the mix,” asks Iusedtiberich. Atlarge produces stats that say Hatch is forty six percent in games won at the MC. Which US player from this year’s team would you like to take at six-to-five against ANY of this year’s European players? You’d go broke. You’d have to hate your money.

(Perhaps you’d break even on SVB. But you had better be sure that THIS YEAR’S SVB shows up, not the usual MC imposter.)
Just SVB and Fedor.

Who made this design popular?

The ginacue I had was the 6th from the left this brochure

The fourth cue from the left was made for Marvin Henderson. When he passed, his family asked Ernie to sell for them. I still have in my collection, along with another in this picture from the same BRW slab. They’re beauties.

Marvin’s name always comes up when discussing best ever African-American players. He spent a lot of his life in California, I believe he was originally from Pittsburgh area.

Pool Ball Collecting.

That’s fantastic, Mulambo!

I know a few other gentlemen who have great expertise on the subject of billiard games and their rules. They visit this forum occasionally and I’m sure would be extremely interested to view your website when it is ready.

For my part, I would certainly love to see more photographs of your ball collection.

Good luck!
I used to know one, I think an Irish guy (or of such origin, residing in the US). He was aiming to come up with a book of various games, some of them even not related to pool. Got to know him via AZB, and, like many other members, he does not frequent here any longer :cautious:
