Quiet Eyes refers to maintaining a relaxed gaze on a large target. In pool, this means looking calmly at the object ball—without judgment or pinpoint focus—for at least two seconds. A University of Florida study found that this technique can improve shot-making.A PAUSE of what ever length is not a concept or technique used for the sake of pausing.
So far I haven't seen anything discussing a pause and it's relevancy to anything but simply pausing because its a good thing to do etc...
I am not clicking your link why should I and I don't care if it addresses every nuance where no other source or mention has.. I repeat I have not come across anything especially in mention other than what I said.

It sounds like you may be skeptical of the study (which you didn't review!), but in my experience, quiet eyes can help students enter a focused, calm state. Consider basketball players at the free-throw line: the best shooters pause, look at the basket in a relaxed manner, and keep their bodies still before beginning their shot. The study showed that across stick-and-ball sports where a pause is allowed, a two second pause or longer is optimal.

Harry Platis was The Whale in the Northwest. He operated out of his own room on the north side of Seattle. He played only 1 pocket and .min bet was a thousand. Different players had different spots.Who was this Harry? There was a Harry Taylor and also a JR in the Southbay. Never met 'em. Guys would always rave about the good players like I was supposed to know 'em.
There was a stable type group of players that Harry supported. On a regular basis they would empty their pockets and that was the wager. They could pick a player from the uh let's see 3, 4 maybe more. Mike Danner was lead. Anyway each one gave a different spot. Kept Harry in shape and The Corporation paid their rent.
Harry and Keith made a pretty big score in Vegas once but that was playing 9 ball, if I remember right and Keith put together a huge package when the bet got high.

Sarcasm for anything you perceive is a figment.
To illustrate: We are taught that light enters the eyes and gets inverted etc... and the optic nerve sends it to the brain blah blah which makes what you see so on and so forth. They don't tell the kiddies there is no way to see this video unless you're in it; a hologram.
Same thing with pain receptors. Nerves send electricity to the brain, owee. There's a big chunk of explanation missing there.
God created man in his own image. So big head man thinks he looks like God. lol. It might just mean "in his own hologram."

Well I did consult and got the permit and passed inspection.

EDIT... just looked at Treadways and they are beautiful. I could afford one but have no interest in that money level and not up for waiting. Certain things in life are and are not worth waiting for...but lack of solid communication take the fun/joy out of the purchase.
