Best Current Pool Players 70+ Years Old?

This is very normal for one in their 70s even if you are otherwise in good mental and physical condition. Those that claim that they are as sharp after many hours of play in their 70s as they were in their 30s are either very rare lucky birds or just not living in reality.
I find at home I can sit on the couch or on a recliner when I get a little tired and at the poolhall I need a quick smoke break ( I quit smoking perse) and have only smoke 3-4 cigarettes a week. I still enjoy it and down from a pack a day. I get hot flashes from the hormone treatment and when they come on I seem to really play good lol

We acquired a Rare Brunswick “Cat’s Paw” table. Has anyone seen another one?

Hey everyone,

I’m with Ledford Billiard Supply in South Carolina, and last year we had the opportunity to pick up what we think is one of, if not the rarest billiard table currently on the market. The Antique Cat's Paw (Pre-Monarch) table by Brunswick.

We put together a video documenting the story, the pickup, and what we currently know about it, but I wanted to bring it here because I know there are some serious Brunswick historians, antique table collectors, and restoration people on AZB.

Upon my original research on this table, I landed upon this forum. I saw a picture of the table on a 1971 A.E. Schmidt catalog posted by long-time user @manwon. I've also reached out to him but haven't heard back. Other than this, I have found ONE other Cat's Paw table documented online.

A few of the details we’re trying to better understand:

- The table appears to be tied to the early Brunswick / Monarch era, but the exact placement in the timeline is still unclear.
- The marking on the table reads “J M B & B Co.”
- The cabinet has what appears to be hand-carved marquetry marked “0098.”
- The leg design is noticeably different from the more commonly recognized Brunswick Monarch tables. While the Monarch tables featured the lions head, this table specifically features the paw, hence the name.
- From what we’ve been able to gather, there were only ever a handful of these specific models ever produced. The official number is still unclear, and I haven't seen any official documentation (if it even exists) to specify this.

Here's the video showcasing an in-depth look at this table:

Here’s the video if anyone wants the full context:

I’d genuinely love to hear from anyone who has seen one of these before, knows more about the Cat’s Paw history, or has insight into early Brunswick production/markings.

The table is currently valued at $150,000.

Has anyone here come across another table like this, or any old Brunswick documentation that might help place it more accurately?

Perfect Aim / THE SHIFT will be on the road again. First stop will be Phoenix, AZ. FREE mini lessons everywhere I go......5/13/2026 1st day.

You were able to apply this shift even with the whiplash?
I had so much trouble just playing pool. They did therapy on my neck for 3 years. Finally a Dr said. I'm going to send you to someone that can fix this. The surgeon said that there was no way that therapy would fix this. He fused c5 c6 c7 and was really doing good until I got rear ended 11 months later. It's been about 6 years and I have finally gotten used to the pain and learned to live with it.

The SHIFT doesn't effect anything with the neck, in fact it actually makes it easier.

90% of all people are opposite eye dominant. I have documented proof from over 3,000 lessons and 5,000 mini lessons.

Lets say that you are left eye dominant. When you put left English on the ball the left eye knows what to do and shares the cue with the right eye. When you put right English on the ball the left eye comes over too far and tries to cut the right eye out all together creating a terrible mess for envisioning the shot and getting the right English. So basically your dominant eye sabotages the players ability to get the correct amount of English when using right.

Bottom line. The players game spikes allot. Now they can actually get right and left English equally and they can hit center ball when they need to.

There is no info on this anywhere that I know of. It only took me 40 years to figure this out.

but then.... when life is 2026.. should this option be available? Would it not be a solution to so many things? It's irresponsible.,.. sure. And so is life in 2026. I am thinking.

Well, anyway, to lighten your mood, some girl with webbed feet (and with some fantasy: she could be nakkkeeeddd)

I’ve always wondered… are webbed feet permitted in competitive swimming?
