I see Lee every day...I'll ask him this week.
I've been around the Bay Area for a long time, and I don't recall hearing of Fred. You might try contacting Lee Simon, the owner of Buffalo Billiards in Petaluma. He's been in Marin/Sonoma his whole life.Based on the hour or so I spent with the man over 30 years ago, I think I’d agree! I’m hoping someone here might’ve actually gotten a cue from him, too…
You're right!
Sorry about that.
Evan Lunda to answer directly.Who won?
Yes he did. He could play on the American Snooker table too. I knew him 1982-1985 from College Billiards, shared a few meals with him.I'm not sure Swanee played one pocket
Well, there was a flight from NOLA at noon on Monday that got into London at 6AM on the first day of play (Tuesday). The current format has all 256 players playing on the first day. The first match was at 11AM. Tight but possible. It seems that Fedor was on a later flight from NOLA. I think he finished at 3AM Monday there..... and there was no scheduling conflict, they did not overlap. ...
