The new Dr V Titlist chalk that SVB is using and endorsing comes in grey. I have a piece and like the way it adheres to my break tip (which hates chalk). I also tried it out a bit on a playing cue and it’s pretty clean.

I still use my green Pagulayan on my playing cue though. I’m used to it, I like it and not willing to change. But I’d recommend trying the Dr V.

Another premium chalk that comes in grey is Turning Point out of China - used and endorsed by some Asian players. A bunch of the Chinese players I know in my area have switched to it and like it.

I think it's good to get an intro to the players, but the questions could be improved.

It'll be interesting if they hold up long term in rooms that have allot of play. If they do, like zar said, a game changer for ball maker$.
I've only seen one ball set of centennials wear out in my lifetime, at 38th and Sheridan in Denver.
It was the first room in to have Gold Crown I's and it was the table Danny Medina played on ALLOT.
They also had two 5x10 snooker tables.
Even Omaha Fats hung out there yrs ago.

Clearly Boyes clearly doesn't know pool rules, he claims right after the shot, "that is the maddest thing I have ever seen in pool or on a Snookah table" he goes to laugh then claim "of course its a push shot". I think he calls it a push shot because the ref declares the balls frozen, if they were not frozen it would have been a double hit, not a push. The other point that makes me think that he is not clear on pool rules is that he keeps comparing the rules to Snookah and "other cue sports". When the ref inspects the balls you can hear the word "frozen" spoken right after he backs away from the table. Its just as possible that he said "not frozen" as well as "frozen" because its real hard to hear, closed captioning also doesnt pick up either word.

Being wrong isn’t the big issue to me. It’s being wrong AND terribly insulting to the player. Any casual player or viewer (and all the clueless people who don’t understand the rules) would just accept his comments (amplified by Matchroom) that suggest that Pongers is clueless.

So unfair to Pongers.

In a word having 71 players rated 800 Fargo or higher, I am no longer willing to deem anyone else a contender for the title at the majors. Every sub-800 player is a longshot and, yes, occasionally, a longshot comes in. To put it simply, Fargo 800 just isn't what it used to be.

Poland aside, the federations are, typically, letting their best cueists play at the WNT event (for Germany, Filler and Neuhausen, for Spain, Alcaide and FSR, for Austria, Ouschan, Lechner and He).

Inclusion of the listed players would, of course, have made the WNT field deeper, but, other than Szewczyk and Maciol, it would have not changed the title picture much.

This is not the first time that the EPBF European Championships overlapped with a WNT major, and it won't be the last.
