The Dentist .
A few years ago my sonn and his girlfriend bought a Chinese Takeaway and shared it out so I felt a crunch but thought it's a chicken bone but the next day I found out it was a filling , should've went to the Dentist but delayed it , no toothache but now I'm hoping please , pretty please pop yourself . No rush to go anywhere with the Corona Virus in the headlines .

The Hairdresser's .
Raising a young family , you put them first at everything and one such thing was the hairdresser so my family were first in the queue and to save money I'd trim my own , same when the access visits and one day I bought the head shaver kit so and that had to do just to save cash . I was in Clydebank thinking I need a haircut but the Government said stay 2 meters apart so it will be out with the head shaver all over again .

Dad and the 45 foot extension ladder story . Part 2 .
Dad's at the front , I'm at the back carrying this pesky ladder borrowed from one of his mates because the promised ladder never arrived . Imagine crossing heavy traffic roads with a 45 foot extension ladder , heavy man ! A one day job turned into a two weekender by the time we returned the ladder .

Dad used to work at all sorts of building trade work at the weekends so this time it's Gerald so as a young teenager your gonna grab the money , right ? So we turned up at the work site , the promised 45 foot extension ladder wasn't delivered on site as promised so Dad made some phone calls and it's right , job's knackered but we need to go to collect this ladder and come back to work tomorrow . . Forty five foot extension ladder and we carried it one mile and a half maybe two mile to the job site through busy roads .

Dad's birthday , what a man to know , a true friend ! He was a Glazier and worked in Dumbarton but at the weekends he did all sorts of work from the building trade , you name it , he done it . Dad would think nothing of walking from Dumbarton to Duntocher carrying heavy sheets of glass and as a youngster if I seen heavy duty canvass sheets at the back of The West End Bar it meant Dad had a big glazing job at the weekends and that meant pocket money . God Bless you Dad . What a Superstar he was to know !

Mother's Day Sunday 22 March 2020 .
Mum passed October 19th 2009 , I cant remember if that was the exact day because I lost one of the most greatest friends in this world I ever knew and quite possibly blanked the day out with lager but what a woman , she ran the show , cooked , baked , washed , ironed , house bills , gifts , knitting , the whole show and I miss her dearly . God Bless You Mum !

Duntocher Main Street - Sunday 22nd March 2020 .
Do you live next to a busy road like I do ? Very quiet , hardly any traffic on the road , last time it was this quiet wes when the road was blocked off for resurfacing . Spar shop , two staff serving and I'm the only customer and I only seen one Dude walking .
