How comes I can hear the radio on in your room but we can't get lights on in our room so Dad said hahaha , i've got a battery radio now go to your bed and get to sleep.....

When I was a young kid Dad would say things like I'm going to bed so you's all have to go to bed but he had the radio in his room so growing older and wanting to listen to Muhammad Ali fights on the radio etc Dad would find out and switch the electricity off . Dad would say right , that's enough and If I catch you's at it I will pull the fuse from the electricity box and that's what they are doing here in the UK , pulling the plugs !
