Yea, I knew that, David. Just pickin at JB about his WI strip joint called Dairy Queen. Come to think of it, I think Willie Munson told me about a joint like that in Union Grove, LOL.

Noonie Baby, there's a name all the 50+ year old black players in the country knows, sent Willie in on us. Noonie, slipped, Bugs and a lot more black players in on an unsuspecting deep south. He knew every white joint and pool hall a black player could play and get out with the cash. Noonie, spent a lot of time in Chicago. Super smart stearsman and played pretty sporty himself.
Willie Munson, has that million dollar smile. You just gotta like the guy.

It was intresting and fun though.
I'll be easy to spot. You know who Tome Sellick is that played Magnum??? Well, I don't look anything like him!!!!

LOL. OK, I'll be looking for the guy that looks the least like Tom Sellick I'm glad it's a movie. I also hope that where ever it opens, that the players will go the first week or two to support it. If not, movies are dead now a days. The first two weeks are critical for a movie like that. It needs a lot of word of mouth too, as I'm sure they don't have a big promotion buget. Johnnyt

It obviously is in editing and then is being sent off to add the soundtrack and then, I don't have the slightest dam clue.
I heard something about the premiere here in San Antonio and sure I'll here about it a couple of days before hand.
As for my part, Sylver told me that I reminded him of Pauly in the Rocky movie. I know, just know that there is compliment in there somewhere, but again knowing Sylver, maybe not.
I got even though as I got to call him a "NIT" which really made my day! It wasn't planned or written, I just couldn't turn down the oppritunity. They printed it too!!! LOL!!
As I learn more, I will post it all. In honesty, I've been a little busy and haven"t been around or near things much lately.

Update on "Pool Hall Master" the movie. The movie will probably be released in August 2008. Besides the movie, included will be a "One-Pocket" training DVD by GABE OWEN and a "Banks" Training DVD by SYLVER OCHOA.

Update on "Pool Hall Master" the movie. The movie will probably be released in August 2008. Besides the movie, included will be a "One-Pocket" training DVD by GABE OWEN and a "Banks" Training DVD by SYLVER OCHOA.

Forgot to tell you that there is a small One-pocket pool tournament at the end of the movie. The four players were: Corey Deuel, Gabe Owen, Sylver Ochoa and Rick Moreno. The tournament was race to two in the singles competition and team competition - two against two, race to two. It was interesting and spectators loved it.
So here's what you get with the movie: a tournament at the end of the movie, a One Pocket and Banks Training DVD by Gabe Owen and Sylver Ochoa, and for a limited time and for the first 500 orders, a T-Shirt that has the DVD cover on it that says - Pool Hall Master.
