I have copied this verbatim from the thread that RayDM bought the cue from. I do not yet have pics. Ray Ling the owner of the cue has asked me to post this for him. Today he went to the Mayo Clinic in Minn. with some sort of infection of the brain. He is worried about his family and is looking to move this cue asap. I will only use escrow, either proficient or fast and loose. You can call me to discuss and as soon as I have pics I will get them up. My number is 515-865-1890. Open to offers and highly motivated.
LIKE NEW - JAMES WHITE Hoppe Style Cue I should proof read. Ray also has a 314 shaft matched up to this cue. I believe white matched it up. He paid 1800 + 314 shaft so he has 2K in it.[/COLOR]
I’m selling a like new James White Hoppe Style Cue. The finish is flawless on this cue and it has 4 ebony points with 5 veneers (white, green, blue, red, & black from the point out) in a highly figured birdseye maple forearm, a SS joint, White with black speck linen wrap, 2 12.9mm shafts with ivory ferrules, and an ebony butt sleeve with an ivory ring at the Hoppe style butt cap. Check out the picture from the article in the 3rd edition of the Blue Book of Pool Cues which shows this cue along with 4 other James White cues as an example of James White’s work…..Asking $1800 shipped to any continental US address for the cue…..PM me if you are interested in the cue and I’ll get back to you ASAP!
