i was down john's about 2 years ago and i believe that red pearl ring material came from doc fry's old stock. john recieved most of his old stock and a lot of it came from george balabushka's shop... awesome cue there, gl with the sale...JS

Sweeeet Showman. What year was it made? The Butt cap looks longer than 1.5". Just curious? Love to see it in person at the SBE, if it is still available.

Thanks,
Rik

Hello Rik,
The butt cap is standard length. Probally just the pic.
Not sure when it was made.

Sorry Kam, but this is now my FAVORITE Showman cue, hands down.

I have only seen a handful of cues (outside of Titlist's, of course) whre the outer veneer was not black. This is very unique and just amazing.

As far as the ferrules go, I've heard John uses them on his personal cue if that tells you something about the way they hit!

This is a great looking Showman cue and the rings in the butt sleeve really add to the look of the cue.

James
