just noticed a new quirk or two

there are some changes in this upgrade that aren't obvious at first.

Well.... I guess I have to bite; What might those changes be? :groucho:

I haven't cataloged them but one that is obvious is he multi-quote icon.. and of course the box wanting to know the reason for editing this post, the new rep box, and hmmm?

Signature changes only show on new posts. A couple of other different things too but the signature thing was what I was testing last night.

I had NOT noticed that!

Speaking of signatures; MUST one get ones butt kicked in order to become "reasonable"? :groucho:

definitely seems to help!

I don't know but in the old days a physical butt kicking was also known as an attitude adjustment. It did seem to straighten out a lot of people!

A funny story about an attitude adjustment. I purchased a new business in a town 125 miles from mine. I had to fire two employees for theft the very day I purchased the business. One of their friends started spreading ridiculous lies about me. That can do a lot of harm to a stranger in a tight knit community.

One afternoon I mentioned to my wife that I was going discuss the matter with the person that evening. She wanted to ride. I tried to discourage her but she insisted. When I arrived at the guy's home that afternoon he was out front on the sidewalk. I walked over to him, tapped him a few times and walked back to the truck while the gentleman was reclining comfortably on the sidewalk. My wife was speechless for a few minutes. Finally she said, "You didn't say anything, you just hit him!"

"Nonverbal communication girl, he understood." He did too, attitude adjusted, problem solved. Being a more reasonable time and place I never heard another word about kicking the butt of someone that deserved it.

I also noticed that the public profiles no longer display if someone is online or not. Unless someone can tell me an easier way, I've been having to go to the home page list and look for the particular member to see if they are on.

Really? I just clicked on your username and went to your public profile. It used to say right by your name if you were on or off line. Nothing on my screen now.

I don't get it, my dues are current. I suppose it doesn't matter given that you can see the member status in the post screen, but it used to show it on the public profile as well. No biggie.
