OTLB vs AZB forum mechanics

PIP #139 is not straight. facings are only glued on and they are not holding. This table was made in 2006, what glue were they using on these facings? They also seem a bit hard for me. Does the Proam have the same slate? Cushions seem to be on good so far.

Still trying to keep this thread alive?...LOL this subject has nothing to do with the OP thread...does it John?;)

just trying to get some info

This isn't my thread, I picked it up where I left it

But after some review my thread count already supercedes yours

John, just for your own personal information...if I didn't comment in this thread...it would have died a long time ago, and wouldn't have had even close to the amount of posts nor views it has now. If you want to beat your chest about a thread...start one of your own...and see how far it goes....OK?;) There is no one keeping track of who the board leader here is....in the mechanic section:rolleyes:

back to other question, you asked what wasn't straight so I answered it. Yes the pocket angle. Thought you are asking me about keeping threads alive and building thread count. Oh well, no matter. Glen, you like the way the pockets fit and go together in the corners? Have to run out for a while. DO you think $3500 installed is a fair price with new cloth included. Thats what I am thinking.

I am keeping score aren't you?

You need to recheck the pocket angle as it's cut out using a CNC machine at 141 degrees. In fact if you look at the bottom of the side rails you should see the engraved degrees for the corners and side pockets...being at 102 degrees. Yes, the pockets are tight, but I like them. Yes, that's a good price:smile:

Lighten up a bit! Enjoy life and good friends! Everyone here is here either to teach or to learn. Everyone here respects talent and is always willing to listen to reason as far as I have observed. If topics result in combative responces then you must really question the example you demonstrate to others. Relax and have some fun! Remeber that all the biggest things in life are the little things!
Dave ;)

P.S.
Looks kike quite a project you have going on there! Looking forward to the Pics. when finished

John,

WilliamD is right on...Relax buddy, everybody knows you are a talented mechanic/engineer/inventor/designer/builder/. Thread count is BS it's quality of content that's most important!

Sorry I missed you on the way back from NYC. Leaving for Columbus Ohio on the 7 or 8 of April for a two week trip, maybe on the way down? or way back?

Jay

Quit wasting everyone's time by bumping a useless thread. Yes, Glen talks A LOT! But he also contributes, gives great ideas, shows off his work, and teaches people his way. You on the other hand act like you have something to hide and play kids games for months on end, you left before please at this point just do it again.

Brought forward for new readers. Glen taught me this trick

Gibberish to English translation for Glen:

"Hey guys, I haven't gotten enough attention today, and even though I can't get you all to like me, I still want you all to pay attention to me. I really admire Glen, but I can't spell that out on a public forum because I'll be ashamed that I look up to him so much, but I don't know any other way to get him to pay attention to me. If he had any hair left, I'd sit behind him and tug on his pigtails. Glen...Glen! Look at me! Hey Glen! Look at me!"

That's a rough translation. Hope that helps.

the more things change the more they stay the same. GLEN leads and Josh and Dartman follow. I thought it was over but you guys want more OK

Seriously, John, now I'm going to get dragged into this? Have we ALL lost our sense of humor? I have nothing against you at all, and I'm not taking sides in this. It didn't matter who that came from, I took it as a joke. I personally think we all need to lighten up and laugh a little together on here more.
