This cue was restored by Schon Custom Cues 3 years ago and has not been a player since. It looks like the day it came back from Schon. There is not a scratch, dent, ding or flaw on the cue ANYWHERE. You will not find a better condition Schon for the money on this site. Specs are as follows:
1993 6-point
Ebony forearm and butt sleeve
Ivory stitched rings and ivory barbells
5x16x14 stainless joint
Butt weighs 15.0 oz
Shaft is a full 13mm perfect dead straight shaft and weighs 4.1 oz
Perfect embossed lizard wrap done by Schon at refinishing
Schon joint protectors included
According to Evan Clarke, this cue has no model number. He also said they would charge $1500 to make another cue like it. I am selling this cue for less than half of new at New lower price...$675 Firm

This should be the model for everyone that lists a cue.

All the information and pictures required.

Good luck with sale.

Very Nice Cue. Good Luck with the Sale.

Now that's a very nice Schon!! A lot of their cues are way over done, this one is simpley amazing. If I hadn't just got a Schon, I would own this one. Very very nice! Good luck with the sale. It shouldn't last long.

Jim

Thanks for the compliments guys! It definately is a beautiful cue and fairly priced. I will be shocked if someone doesnt snag this one up! I played with it before Schon restored it and can say it is a great player...

is that ivory/ebony or micarta/ebony in the points? that wouldn't happen to be an ivory ferruled shaft would it?

I think it is way under priced:eek:! Look at the shaft and the ring work, nice.

THANKS Rvan

Doesn't hurt to mention that the shaft features a Micarta ferrule.

Thank you Mr. Varney! How can you tell from the picture? It doesnt appear to have yellowed like micarta usually does. I am not sure that it really is a micarta ferrule.

It is Micarta for sure...trust me I've seen a lot of them. They made a couple different Micarta ferrules. The one turns orange-yellow like you mentioned...the other is more ivory colored and was offered for sale after the old stuff. You see the ivory colored Micarta on a lot of Schons like yours...also I see them on some Bluegrass cues as well. Atlas did offer the ivory colored ones for sale for a short time.

Nice cue, I have one identical to it in my collection. I got mine in 1995 and played with it for about 5yrs. then got a Andy Gilbert which is also in my collection now.

i wish you were accepting trades because thats all i can offer. good looking cue. good luck with the sale.
