Well its amazing but it is almost time to head back to the West Coast again announced Mark Cantrill of the Legends and Champions Pool Tour.

The Legends and Champions Pool Tour will be Touring the West Coast beginning on April 22nd in The San Diego Area and heading all the way up the West Coast and ending in Tacoma, Washington. We will be visiting many of the same places that we enjoyed the last time and also adding a couple of different ones.

There are a couple of changes to the Legends And Champions Pool Tour this time around. The first change is the Stars of the tour will be Johnny (The Scorpion) Archer and the (Kentucky Colonel) Nick Varner. Nick Brings along with his credentials of being the only person to have won back to back US Open titles, his 8 world championships including a World Championship in 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Straight Pool and One Pocket. He brings a reputation as a great instructor and showman for the exhibitions.

The second Change is the Pool Schools will be different and will be little more advanced than the last trip. We understand that people who attended the pool School before would like to have something else to work on and so there will be a slight refresher on what was worked on the last time that will be good for both students who attended the last time and new students who are attending. Also there will be some new techniques that will help all students such as aiming systems, kicking and breaking.

For those of you who have not heard about the Legends and Champions Pool Tour before I will give you a brief explanation. Johnny Archer and Nick Varner will be making stops in 6 areas on the West Coast at each location there will be a fun exhibition where Nick will perform a few trick shots, stroke shots and tell humorous stories. Johnny will then play a mini Challenge match (race to 7) against a local house Pro, Local Champion or even maybe against Nick. The last hour of the evening we draw names for the chance to play on either Team Archer or Team Varner in a rack of Scotch Doubles, usually around 8 drawings total. And finally Johnny Archer and Nick Varner stay around after the show for a chance to meet the spectators, sign cues and memorabilia and take pictures.

At each Tour Stop we also hold at least one Pool School, we limit these classes to a maximum of 12 people. We then take the 12 Students and divided them into 2 groups of 6. One group will spend 2hrs with Nick Varner and the other group will spend 2hrs with Johnny Archer. After the 2hrs there will be a short break and then the groups will switch instructors for the final 2 hours. This 4hr pool school with two of the greatest players who ever lived is only $200.00 per person.

Below is the schedule for the West Coast. We really hope that you can join us and if you have any questions or you would like to book a spot for the Pool School please feel free to either call Mark Cantrill at 480-612-7732 or email at cantrillmark@yahoo.com

We may have a private show on Friday night and I am waiting to hear on that but if that does not happen I am sure we will be heading out to your place for some free dinner at least. We like free ALOT :) Also I will need a few copies of Pool Wars sent to San Diego and we can pick up more from you when we get to L.A. Sounds like a plan.

I second Lenny's remark. great opportunity to ask questions of two of the greatest players ever. I had a blast when I went and would do it again.

Latest addition is a pool school on Saturday April 25th 10.00am to 2.00pm at Danny K's in Orange, Ca. Please se the original post if you would like to sign up for the school.

There is a possible exhibition in the works also for the L.A area. I will update when I hear for sure.
