Alton makes the trip

I have to say it just one more time......my hat is off to all you guys that unselfishly took part in bringing Alton on this trip to VF. Just watching him enjoying the time spent talking and meeting people....made my heart soar.

I truly felt like I was part of something special, and it was made possible by all the great guys that came through. You have given me a feeling of belonging to a special breed of person.....and I thank you all for that.

I have to say that Alton is one of the best souls I've ever met. Here is a picture of he and I. What a great and humble man.

Steve, thanks for kicking this off and arranging everything. I know Alton loved it. When we were talking in the lobby of the Radisson and Bill Schick came up to you about your part in setting up Alton's trip, that just about made my SBE. A true legend (Bill) complimenting a giver (you) about someone he respected (Alton) was very special. Thanks again. You da man!

I enjoyed meeting Alton at the ACA dinner. He is humble and charming. He simply has that capacity to show a joy of life and to make those around him smile. I count myself lucky to have met him and to have shared a few minutes of conversation.
