This is an original photo that came from a newspaper vault.

But I lost the information on who it is. All I know is he is a former 18-2 Balkline Champion.

I'd be willing to bet Jerry F. will know this one....he has an uncanny ability when it comes to identifying the 'older' players.

IPT had some banners throughout the Reno tournment, all of past players. I didn't know any of them...Jerry knew just about all of them.

Hopefully he'll see this thread. If not, you might PM him.

I don't think it's Jake S., Jr. Here is a photo of Jake S., Jr. (right) standing next to the immortal W. Hoppe.

Nice Picture

That's a nice picture of German champion Erich Hagenlacher---I think.

Another photo of the two 18-2 legends. Represenatative Sol Bloom of New York looks on at the table also.

I knew it when I saw it with my own 2

It was the look he gave, that gave it away to me.

The "eyes" have it.

(The crowd goes Boooooooooooooo!!!!)

LOL at this pic...note the guy in the gallery holding a hat in front of his face. Gotta wonder why he didn't want to be seen in the photo...

Jeff, what else was in the vault???

There were several great photos of Hoppe but I was outbid on them.

I did get this.

The all-star game collision between Pete Rose and Ray Fosse.

Fosse lived 12 miles from me. The town renamed it's park, Ray Fosse Park.

So for me this one was neat
