Chalk container?

I picked up two of those from RBC. FWIW, they'll hold 3 pieces of chalk if you push the plastic top all the way down; however, there are notches in the plastic, so you don't have to. I currently have 4 pieces of chalk in each of them, and it'll hold one more piece, easily. Sure, not as nice as leather, but it's a chalk holder for in the case, so who cares what it's made of? No one's looking at it. In fact, I think plastic has the advantage IMO. Great idea, and even at $3 + s/h, well worth it. I haven't had any chalk dust in my case since I got mine, and he shipped them out quick, too. I've been asked several times where I got them, and have sent them to your website. If you don't have them up on there, I can take some pics and throw together a quick info on them, and send you the HTML to put on your site. Probably won't make you a million bucks (I hope it does, though), but I'm betting you'll sell a lot more of them.

Not sure if I told you, RBC, bu thanks. You had a great idea, and it's quite possibly the best $6 I've spent, :)

I also think they'd make great stocking stuffers for team captains to give their members, or things like that. It's the simple ideas that sometimes work the best! :embarrassed2:

Another option...

I went down to my local hardware store and in the tool section where they sell the cheap plastic tool boxes...they have these neat little clear plastic, snap shut boxes that holds 6 pieces perfectly. Inside the box are 6 little compartments that are just large enough to hold 1 pc each. The boxes are fairly slim too and fit easily into any case pocket. I believe they were $2. I've also seen them at the local "Space Saver" store that specializes in plastic storage bins. A quick Google of "plastic storage bins" will show many places & choices as well.

I can't remember who it was, but, the first time I seen one of these plastic boxes on this forum, the person told me he picked them up at a craft store,Michaels to be exact and they are in the brick and motar section for a couple of bucks. I forgot what was in them but, real easy to find. Just like the ones on here.

Another FANCY Option

Because I live in a household of women (1 wife/2 daughters) I came across a terrific option.

A lipstick case/holder. I was looking in the store "Things Remembered" and they had 2 lipstick cases. They were metal and definitely FU FU. However they were large enough to hold at least 3 pieces of chalk.

Just do a Google search and you will see what I mean.......

Next time I get a prescription refill, I plan on taking a piece of chalk with me, ask is they have a suitable bottle. Good idea!

Anything wrong with a prescription pill bottle or a zip loc?

Absolutely nothing wrong with any container to hold spare chalk that prevents chalk dust from getting into your case. Just throwing some different ideas around.

No, they aren't on our website, but we do have them available.

I originally ran them for $2.00 each, or 4 for $6.00 plus $2.50 to ship, but I currently sell them for $3.00 each plus shipping.

I will honor that original price to those who want some of these through the end of the Super Billiards Expo. After that, they are going back to $3.00 each.

If you want to take advantage of this, just send me a paypal for the appropriate amount based on the prices above. My paypal is rbunnell@obcues.com. Please don't pm me about it because I just don't have time to go back and forth on these things. I don't really make any money off these, it's just a neat thing to have available.

So, send me a paypal for the amount that you want by the 29th, and we will get them shipped out to you.

Thanks!

Has anyone else received theirs? PMs and emails sent with no response.

Sang Lee

I ordered the Sang Lee chalk. A really cool little plastic case and the chalk is good also. A cheaper way to go is the Rx pill container and some Masters.

Paul,

The email I have for you does not work. Even when I reply to the email you sent me, it comes back as undeliverable.

Anyway, they are on there way to you. They didn't go until last week, we were behind from the SBE, but you should see them soon.

Thanks!

Royce

Thanks for the reply. Not sure why the email would come back undeliverable, I will check with my ISP. Hopefully your SBE thing went well as I'm sure it did.

I was going to wait until Vegas but I wanted to use these for some teammates before our season finished. Our team took 1st place in our league (2 years in a row).

Anyway thanks again.
