10 ball must count on the break! It's preposterous to respot the 10 ball.
:sorry:

If you pocket 10 ball on the break....it is a win.
If you foul on the break and pocket it, it's spotted
Some places play by the rules of the bottom two pockets don't count. So if the 10 goes in one of the bottom two pockets it gets spotted. Any other pocket it is a win. I see nothing wrong with playing those rules. If you pocket 10 ball on the break....it is a win.

Yeah, what's the big deal? And how many 10 balls are made on the break anyway? Very few.

To the OP, if you don't like the rules of the tournament or gambling match you are in. DON'T PLAY IN IT THEN!!!!!! Simple as that.

Why is it people always want to win without doing any work ?
Oh yea, we're in america.
Maybe we should do away with homeruns, hole in ones and hail marys. They really don't take that much work. Not compared to the other ways of winning.

Those things you mentioned require skill to some degree, you can't just grab some average Joe off the street with no experience in those fields and have them just do it. But someone who's never played pool before can conceivably make a 9 on the break because it's total luck.
Pool requires skill as well. Just because the 9 or 10 ball goes in lucky sometimes doesn't mean it shouldn't count. There is luck in all sports. It doesn't mean those plays shouldn't count is all I am saying. Those things you mentioned require skill to some degree, you can't just grab some average Joe off the street with no experience in those fields and have them just do it. Nice..........There are some people in the world to thick headed to understand this.
