thank god i never sold my deroo i have posted, otherwise i would have been on the other end of this. at least he was pm'd that he wasn't going to be getting the cue...........could you imagine what it would be like to wait for it, not knowing that it would never arrive........

Wah piang eh. Towkay... Mai kih siao leh. Relax, it's already done and over with. Life goes on. :) So what next cue are you getting? Or have you finally found the cue of your dreams? :D

I know Sugar tree is a good cue , for me personnally this one isnt visually appealing, but it probably plays lights out.

Hi KeeFy, my cue of cues is in the works by Mr Steve Klein the gentleman at the moment. I should be getting it in a couple of weeks. Hehe.

I just wanted to point out to Mr Kyelin the seriousness of the situation and the wrongfulness of his doings. Especially when we come from a lawful Singapore society where as we all know, there is ZERO tolerance for apparent criminal breach of trust and breach of contract.

In my opinion, if the cue is available again for sale because your latest buyer backed out on you..............................then put the cue up for sale again and try to find a buyer......................but anywhere OTHER than here at AZ please. Not saying that you won't find a buyer here, but chances are you've lost everybodys trust, and when it comes to an overseas deal like in the case of your cue................................trust is all we at AZ have to go on.

Seriously, based on your credibility, I highly doubt you're going to be able to sell the cue here. Unless you sell it really cheap, someone might take the bite. Anyhow, i'd like to still wish you all the best in selling the cue. Maybe you'll learn your lesson in due time.


abcdef: Ooooh. Excited? :D Derry is very happy with the BCM you sold to him. Based on all the cues you're been through so far, I've no doubt your next would be a monster player! Good luck! Will have to arrange a pool session to try out your cues when i'm back in Singapore! Take care boss.

I would jokingly say good luck, but you won't get any buyers here so I won't even bother.

The fact that it's also BUTT-UGLY isn't helping, but your shenanigans here is why this cue hasn't, and probably won't, sell.

I dont think its ugly....I think it has character...but what has happened on here with this cue....No Way would I even touch this with a 10' pole
 
Ok everyone I will fess up... even if it ruins my rep.. its still honesty.

I was the "friend" that Kyelin mentioned with his transaction with Chimmy.

I guess what had happened is that I made an offer a bit after Chimmy did, which was a bit higher. But at the time, I did not have a user name. I was waiting for ADMIN approval. So, I did all of this via email.

Anyway, I had no idea there was a transaction pending (between Kyelin and Chimmy), nor was I a friend. But Kyelin and I did make a deal.

But a day later, my wife came on to see the cue in question because I told her I was buying out of country (she knows allot about this because of her profession).

Now when she seen the thread, she noticed all the discussion about backing out of a deal, and Chimmys frustration (Which I had not been aware of yet). So, being the boss that she is... basically I was served an ultimatum. Buy the cue... be in the dog house for an extended period of time.

So I sent Kye an email informing him that I would not be purchasing the cue, and explained to him why. The response I got back was that I "played him out".

But I still feel as if I did the right thing because I didn't begin the mess that is here now. I didn't try to pull out of a deal for $100 bucks or so, nor did I lie.

Integrity is sometimes all we have, so I feel obligated to post this. Sure I could have sat back in the shadows and never said a thing and no one would have known.. but I had to get this off of my continence.

Plus $take Hor$e gave me one heck of a deal on a SW.

I hope all goes well for this guy... he never did anything wrong to me and was a very nice guy. I just don't think what happened was right, even if I were to get the cue, as I never knew him and was never a friend.

I don't see how anyone could hold you responsible for this situation? You made an offer, later found out about his character and judgment (as did your wife) and you decided not to take it. Besides, posting what really happened would only help you in my opinion at least... The guy should have just sold it to Chimmy in the first place.
 
Seems Sugartree causes trouble,brings out the worst in people.Gotta stick with the DEAL you make at all cost or loss!IMO
