T.a.r. Challenge

Yeah, it's hard not to feel sorry for gamemaker. Seems like he did everything short of hold the camera to make this happen. Oh well, maybe something good will come out of it. I, for one, would love to see Rodney in action, as I have only seen him play tourneys.

I can't quite make out what this means. lol! I cant tell if he is still gonna bet on rodney. I talked to him thursday and told him id drive up to capones after im out of this tournament and check out the tables. He said ok and id let him know mon or tues.

And another excuse comes forth. Read your own posts and you will find the excuses. Don't tell me you can't remember what you posted. Why do you have to have some kind of gaff to play? Apparently, you are not good enough to win unless you rack your own. Is this why you don't play pool professionaly because you don't rack your own? The more you post the more you come off as a clown.

I wonder if Jeremy Jones, Stevie Moore, Jose Parica and all the others(too many to mention them all) said okay I will play, but I get a week or two to practice on table 8 before we play. That would be fair, but somehow I get the feeling you don't want fairness. Would you still play that game? The answer is no you wouldn't. If you won't take game maker up on his offer, which is fair, you damn sure won't do this.

We've got a 36 page thread going and what do we have to show for it? Nothing! You are all talk. All I did was call you on it and every time you attempt to explain why another excuse comes out of your mouth. As far as I'm concerned, you talk out of both sides of your mouth.

You are not exactly comparing "apples to apples" here. You are talking about champions that don't have a job and all they do is play pool (ie., professionals).

I think it is clear that DM does not consider himself a professional and has a "day job" to make ends meet. Therefore, I think it is completely appropriate that he set certain conditions if he is going to play a champion for this kind of money.

I am sure he would play most people (ie., non-champions) on most any table.

I competely understand that. I really do. And I don't have any problem with some stipulations or conditions, but where do they stop? He started a thread that has now produced 36 pages of useless banter. He comes across as this very, very(though not pro) good player and he has friends that seem to back this up, yet he doesn't play. Gamemaker has offered a fair game (just my opinion) and he won't accept.

I know I come across as harsh but I'm not the one who started the thread saying "I would like to play Jeremy Jones or Charlie Williams." Enough is enough. Talk gets you no where.
Judging by his posts and some from others he seems to be a tough player; a player that some of the pros know about.

Would you ever offer to play Jeremy Jones or Charlie Williams? (Under any circumstances, with any spot?)

Would you offer to play the 10 ball ghost, giving up a spot? I wouldn't, and I doubt you would either.

Another good question is, how many people know you and have seen how well you play?

One of the biggest mistakes I've made lately is to accidentally green rep you for a terrible post. I WILL rectify that, and you will join those with full RED soon....

The few pro players that post here deserve our respect...I disagree with some of Danny Harriman's posts, but he gets a pass, because we are lucky to have his input here...because he knows more and has done more than you and I are ever likely to accomplish.

As others have said, when has Tiger Woods (or any well known golfer) posted on any prominent golf boards? People like you are the reason that more pros don't post here.

I gave you some RED earlier, and there's plenty more where that came from...:angry:
