My center CB was a full cue tip to the right. I have to line up a full cue tip over to the left now. I now fire in long straight shots at 90MPH and stop on a dime. I am also seeing much better movement with the cueball-much cleaner draw. Feels great!

But.... It has had a regressive effect on anything but straight in shots. ???? What do I do now.... I understand I might need to relearn every shot.

thanks

Pocketing balls I can do, keeping whitey in line get lazy. And the paper on the table or card doesn't get me motivated. So in turn I pocket balls good lol.

I must have done it wrong because I tried to put it on my cue and it broke. Snapped right in two. I am sure it would have helped me though. :(

For a long time, I was making almost the exact same mistake on straight in stop shots. My cue ball ball would be loaded with right spin. I had to take a few hours of private lessons with a billiards instructor to figure out that I had this problem. The stroke trainer would have let me know for a lot cheaper (only $15). I tried for a long time to fix my stroke, and I couldn't quite figure it out. I bought the stroke trainer, and it really helped me to improve my stroke. Within about a week, I was hitting these shots a whole lot better, and only occasional side spin. It's helped to improve my stroke a lot. It's a great product and it's cheap and practical.

He warns you in the DVD about this. You're supposed to use the little cone shaped piece that comes as part of the stroke trainer to prevent this from happening. You put the wide part of the cone over your tip and then slide the assembled stroke trainer over the cone piece and over your tip the 1st time you use it to prevent breaking it.

If you contact Joe, he'll mail you a replacement. You don't have to send the old one back. I broke mine too, but in a different way. I had a bunch of junk on my book shelf, and this caused the thing to break when I was digging through the junk to get to it. Joe mailed me a replacement.

Thanks. I don't remember any other piece that came with it though. I would just buy another one before I asked him to send me one for free. I heard he is golfing now and I am sure needs some green fee money :)

He's a good guy, but he's bad about answering emails. I'm sure he'd appreciate that. The thing works pretty good to improve your stroke if you spend several hours practicing straight in shots with it.

Get both eyes in one poke!

Will this thing help if I hit my opponent with the cue ball every 10th shot or so?

Well, if you don't use the cue ball, you can do a Three Stooges routine with this thing. Just aim right between your opponents eyes, and you'll do a perfect "Moe-poking-Curly-in-both-eyes" reenactment.

:D

are you left handed, if you are I know whats happening i had the same problem, your right eye is more dominant.Line up center ball then close your left eye then right eye see if one is closer to the center than the other. If that is the problem I can help you with that

I know someone with the same issue, it's kind of a relief to see there are other people who have it just as bad or worse.

Keep us updated on how easy or hard it has been for you to adapt. If you have any insights about what causes you to see things differently, that'd also be cool.
