Jasmin Ouschan has defeated Yu Ram Cha 9-7 to become the first player through to the final four at the Women's World Ten Ball Championships. Cha had just defeated Allison Fisher by the same 9-7 scoreline.
Other matches currently in process: Karen Corr V. Akimi Kajatani, Jeanette Lee V. Rubilen Amit, and Kelly Fisher V. Liu Shen-Mei.

If the fan on-site who sent me this will keep sending the info we will keep giving you the latest results.

Jerry did they say if Ga Young got a bye? The chart shows her getting a bye but she's supposed to be playing Chai from Singapore. If Chai dropped for some reason shouldn't #9 seed Lin get the bye?

First, I do not know how to do the V-Bookie stuff. That is Mike H's deal and he is on a plane at the moment.

As for the Ga-Young/Bye situation this was not mentioned in the email I received. I will ask around but I believe it is nearly midnight in Manila at the moment so it could be quite a while before anyone answers and I amy not reach anyone who knows.

Anyone who is there (Jay, Bob, anyone) want to answer this one?

Just for grins, I think the final four will be Ouschan (already there), Corr, Lee and K. Fisher. I also think the experience of Corr gives her an advantage to take the crown.

The Kim Ga-Young situation no longer matters. She was defeated by Zeet Huey Chai of Singapore. Chai then lost to Liu Shin-Mei 9-1. Liu is playing K. Fisher at the moment.

The 11-year old prodigy, Gillian Go, was beaten by Yu Ram Cha just before Cha beat Allison.

Thanks Jerry. I just worry anytime there seems to be a discrepancy in a CW draw given his past record on "fair" draws. Isn't GYK considered a DP asset?

I think Corr will take it all (probably Corr vs fisher final).

OK, well, I was only 100% wrong. Other than that I am doing pretty good. Kajatani defeated Karen Corr 9-7. Amit defeated Jeanette Lee 9-8 and Liu Shen-Mei defeated Kelly Fisher 9-8.

I'm gonna go hang my predictions in the woodshed.

Kim Ga Young is no longer with DP.

Please pm me next time you start to predict so we can make a small bet :D

COME ON JASMIN!!!

A superstrong final four for certain and all of them are in with a chance. It will make me happiest if Jasmin prevails, but good luck to all these worthy champions.

I'm rooting for Rubilen. Wasn't she runner-up to XT Pan in the World 9ball two years or so ago? Maybe this is the year a pinay will be World Champion.

I picked Jasmin to win the tournament from the beginning, but Liu Shin-Mei is going to be a tough woman to beat. I haven't seen Rublien Amit play, but she has to be very good if she's made it to the final 4. I'm still rooting for Jasmin though.

Oh yea, I like Jasmin from here. But you are correct Shin-Mei, and Amit is going to give a good fight. I think Amit plays at least a ball over Mei.
