deep...Yes, lots of people use 'parallel shift' when applying sidespin. I'm one of them. I know about aim & pivot (backhand english), and can teach it to someone. I just prefer parallel shift myself. It's all about CTE aiming anyway!There is no reduction in accuracy, if you have an accurate and repeatable stroke.

Hey Scott, you say you use parallel english, but how well do you now about CTE aim? I am interested in pursuing a method of aiming rather then just "seeing the shot..in the zone"
