Finally! AZBilliards got shirts!

First, we will put the apostrophe after the S. Next, the Got Rep designer gets six shirts when they are made. If the designers of the other shirts will send me your shipping addresses and tell me which shirt it was you designed I will send you some of your design. Please specify what size(s) and color(s) you would like. Send the info to: Jerry@azbilliards.com
Because it reads "A Pool Players Paradise", the apostrophe should be placed before the "S" (i.e. Player's).

I can't seem to get either of the links to work and can't find out how to get into the marketplace ... Can anyone help me out ... thanks ...

That pesky apostrophe!

Because it reads "A Pool Players Paradise", the apostrophe should be placed before the "S" (i.e. Player's).

Folks:

Marissa's correct -- because of some website problems yesterday (I and a couple other folks noticed there was a brief outage to marketplace.azbilliards.com), I couldn't check the marketplace to verify what the original verbiage precisely said on the shirt photo. So I went by my [admittedly faulty] memory, and I remembered just "Pool Players [sic] Paradise". Forgot the "A", and Marissa's right -- this changes the whole meaning -- "a" gives singularity to the context, and thus the apostrophe needs to go in front of the "s".

So it should read:

"A Pool Player's Paradise"

Sorry for any confusion my part in this might've caused.

On a side note, BVal and I noticed that the marketplace.azbilliards.com website seemed to be unreachable at the very time of both of our postings above. Anyone else encounter this problem yesterday?

(And before anyone asks, yes, I could get to everywhere else, and even returned back to the forums; it was just marketplace.azbilliards.com that was unreachable. I'm an I.T. professional, and without getting into "propeller head" details, the FQDN "marketplace.azbilliards.com" resolved to an IP address, but that IP address was unreachable via HTTP or HTTPS -- "the light was on, but nobody was home.")

Lou Kovach of Durham, NC, was the first person to order an AZB shirt. As a result, he will receive a special prize in addition to the shirt. Lou, go to accu-stats.com and pick out any match video you want. Email me the name and accu-stats part number and we will buy it and have it sent to you. Email me your choice and your address at: Jerry@azbilliards.com. I assume you want a DVD.
Thanks for the prize Jerry. It is a pleasant surprise and I look forward to getting the DVD in the mail. I hope the shirt sales are a great success.

As for the international shipping rate, we will charge you whatever it costs us to ship. Just order up and we will bill you later for the shipping. Give us your email address if you do this. And we will get the apostrophe in the right place, but we may take off the A, not sure yet.

I Can Bring It

Is there an international shipping rate?

I may be back over within a month?

I've got a friend who can only come over in the summer (I love initiating newbies) and a business opportunity that will more than pay for the trip.

Everyone PLEASE remember that these shirts do not ship until sometime in July. When you order them the Marketplace will go ahead and hit your credit card for the money now. That's how the software works and we cannot alter that.

Actually, that's not true. Mike and I intend to steal all the money from the advance shirt sales and buy a castle in Bali where we will live out our lives in luxury.

Yeah, well, you better at least invite those of us that paid for shirts! I'm sure no one would mind. :D

Ordered a few for now. Will be back before deadline for more of the Collector's editions.

P.S. Quick question, off topic. Well, it kind of goes along the lines of the t-shirts "got rep" shirts I guess. I just figured out rep a few months ago....how does one read rep from past couple years? I didn't ever know how until recently. Duh me.

Super!

That's great Jerry.

I really appreciate the 6 free shirts and look forward to receiving them in July. I guess I won't have to be ordering them through marketplace.

Are there any photographs of the different COLORED shirts? I was just wondering how the ink colors will look on the colored shirts.

Thanks,

JoeyA

Cool- let me know and I'll come to Bangkok for a couple of days.

I kinda hate playing pool in a white shirt.
Any chance of making in Black?
There are a few different colors to choose from. If you go to the market place you will see what colors you can choose from.

There isn't a way to go back and view rep, unless you click on every individual post you ever made. And even then you can't see who left it for you.

If it's any consolation, I've left you some greenies in the past :)

Thanks Marissa!

....and BUMP for this thread....

Which shirt is everyone's favorite? I ordered the 'GOT REP' and 'PARADISE' shirts. For now anyway.

May want that Paradise shirt to wear to that remote island that Jerry & Mike may escape to. :D

Jerry, I have a question which kinda corresponds with that by BigTruck in regard with sizes. It would be good to know how the shirts are supposed to fit, tight or loose (there are two different kinds of models, it refers both to the body and sleeves). And I would be thankful for a reference table of how the size chart the manufacturer uses compares to European size (you know, 46-48-50-52 centimeters, metric system)... I would regret having received "Collectors edition" shirts and then being forced to give them away because they are too big ot too small.

The Shirts are 100% cotton and made by Gildan. Since they have no poly there is o shrinkage and the shirts will fit as marked, certainly not snug. As for comparisons to European sizes, I got no clue. Neither does the silk-screener doing the work. Perhaps another poster has this info.

Jerry,
What if I already ordered my shirt and need to change the size?
I ordered a L and since its Gildan, Im pretty sure Im gonna need an XL.
TAR used Gildan for their shirts and after one wash it turned into a crop top :frown:

For everyone interested I found a Gildan t-shirts size chart. But 100% cotton fabric tend to shrink after wash, and sugeknight is correct mentioning that. If so, like past experience tells, should we consider ordering bigger size?

According to various chart I found my American size should be M (chest 37", waist 33"). If anyone there has the same or close size, please share with me which one you would order or ordered already. (The link above tells Medium Gildan t-shirts are 20" wide and it should be doubled to get the chest size. Would 40" shrink to fit my 37" nice or will it be too bad?)
