anyone else think it's strange to see old guys wearing hustlin usa gear. i saw an old guy at hard times sporting a hustlin usa t shirt and it really looked weird.

I don't see why ANYBODY would wear it. Not that I think there's anything wrong with the clothes, but don't real hustlers want to stay under the radar? Why advertise - "Hey I'm a hustler! Wanna play some?"

I would'nt wear any of that stuff myself but if the older guys wanna wear it thats cool with me.
That isn't really my style either. I stick to the Deadstroke shirts and the state tournament shirts
Seriously, if you want to be a hustler, these shirts do a much better job at getting action(ok, I don't actually wear these shirts either). A few years back you pretty much knew someone was a player when they were wearing a Hustling USA shirt. Now half of the nits have them too. I personaly would rather wear one of their plain shirts with just their logo.The little sayings on the back seem corny to me.
When you hustled 40/50 years ago, you knew you was the hustler when you walked into the place. Today you don't know if your the hustler or being hustled, everyone can play now days. As I see it today everyone knows everyone, if not just pull up their name on the INTERNET. If that don't work, I'm sure someone's around to blow the action.
All the top players today, that I think could be classified as hustler just let it be known that they are willing to play anyone.

that's one of the best things about pool. being an older player doesn't mean you don't have a chance
