I am 45 and wear Hustlin and TAR t-shirts when I am not wearing my standard Polo shirts and I cannot play a lick. However, I see those shirts more as clothing lines for pool players and do not really think they have anything to do with whether someone can really play or can't run three in a row on a loose Valley bar table. If I thought what I wear really had that much bearing on how much action I might get I would probably start wearing a t-shirt that says the world gives me 13 to 5 and the 3 out:thumbup::thumbup:-don

I have a Hustlin visor, I dont wear it in the pool room. I do wear it out and about because sometimes you can meet other pool players outside of the pool room. I think anything people wear that is pool related is great. The more advertising our dying sport gets is for the better.

Same with me. If I'm going somewhere where I'm already known or not in the poolroom, I wear all kinds of pool stuff, shirts. If I'm gonna go in to the unknown environment, I might wear all kinds of getup.

There was a time when I was young and immature. I didn't care what anyone thought about the clothes that I wore. As I grew older and more mature I realized that others judge us by the clothes we wear. Now after giving the matter considerable mature thought, I still don't give a crap about what others think! My clothes suit me and my lifestyle.

I'm 43 and just last week I went to the Casino with a TAR "Got Action?" shirt on. I had quite a few good comments from people on it.
This thread reminds me of when I used to golf at our country club in high school. At the time I was a 6 handicap.....(like a good short stop in pool) I used to wear cut off jeans and t-shirts with sneakers or flip-flops. I'd get all kinds of looks or comments from members. Didn't really matter, they all got beat just the same!
