Hi Azer,

one more cue for my small collection. ;)
I was searching for a great typical Joss West for a long time.
I wanted to have something with his typical ring design, and after searching for years i finaly found the right one.
Thanks to Jimmy and Bill - i realy love that cue and the Blue Lapis looks awesome in reality.
Hope you all can imagine this cue, because it´s an awesome piece if you hold it in your hands - WOW

The pics can´t tell how great it is, but i hope you like it !?

best regards,
Erich

The lapis and baby blue veneer really make for a cohesive design. Mr. Stroud has a gift; you chose a beautiful cue. Congratulations.

Thanks Drawman, and you are right he has a gift, for sure ! :D
The Blue threw the whole cue looks amazing, but when i took the Macros from the Butt section i got like
Look at the inlayed ivory X´es on the Butt Macro ( Pic 3 ). You can see the silver line between the X´es - WOW
When i saw it i got like - that´s not possible ! But like i said i love his rings !

That was my good friend Jimmrayk's cue. That cue and mine were made at the same time. Very nice Joss West. Jimmy wanted one in blue (Lapis), and I wanted one in red (Red Coral). Below is a picture of mine.

first nice cue!.... second, are you saying WOW because the camera took good pictures and you can see the detail or because you think that seeing part of the silver line between the center of the X's is the WOW factor and you wonder how he did it?.......

Dear Skins,
i am not realy wondering how he did it, but that he did it ;)
Like is said, never had the chance to hold a Josswest in my hands, so that was something like a WOW Effect to see this, o.k. !?
But it´s nice to hear you like it, too.

he just inlays the X's over the top of the rings. since the bottom of the X's are shorter in width to the ring it exposes some of the ring that's all....they're not small inlays in case you thought they were.....just an FYI......enjoy the cue!

skins ----------- always liked Bill's ring work.............

Craig

Thanks for the kind words, Craig, and i now you have a Josswest i would be realy interested in ! ;)
And i love my new Playing Cue - pfd, but your Josswest would be the nuts for me, i think
Erich

Erich...Congrats!

You picked a beautiful Joss West to acquire.

I was fortunate to see your cue in person at the ICCS show in Kansas City. While it looks good in the pictures, it looks even better in person.

Mr. Stroud does such classy designs.

All the Best,
Joe

Erich,

Your collection is continuing to grow nicely. Nice addition with the Josswest. They hit a ton, and his work is perfect.

Take care,

Will Prout

LOL,

My JossWest just might come up for sale. It is the nuts. Has seen very very little play. 2 orig shafts with ivory ferrules, 2 matching pred 314 shafts.

Roof all fixed, but now i'm broke!!!

I'm glad you like the pfd.
