Just curious:

I've been approached by someone who is interested in buying some of my personal cues and cases. This is what I have and btw I just got them back from other friends and family who have been keeping them. They would have never survived had I had them myself all these years...I'm not in any way shape or form a pac rat.

2 Cues I won the World Championships in 90-91 (made by Helmstetter) 1 has my name and date on it...the other is just the cue I used nothing on it.
My first case on the Pro Tour (Jay Flowers made it special for me, just got it back its so beat up...but it is VERY cool)
I have the case I got after winning the US Open, it says "Women's 1992 US Open winner or something like that"

Just curious if someone does collectibles I know the price is in the eye of the beholder.
Personally I would love them to go to someone who will take care of them, I do like the idea of someone keeping them after I have come and gone.

I say offer them up for a charity auction so you like the idea of someone keeping them now.

I would think that these could be great family heirlooms but thats just me. I will not try to guess the value of these items because like you said their value could vary from collector to collector. I know there are a few on this board that should be able to help you out. Good luck on finding someone to take care of them for you.

I need more info.

Umm. Who are you?

I'm a has been...you have to look in the history books to find me.
I will try and get Jan to help me take pictures...she is here...Jan is Jan McWorter from McWorter cues she should be able to take a picture :)

Far from a has been, I would say.

BTW - my daughter enjoys your son's show on Nickelodeon.

gotta see some pics.

I have the pics now, just getting them up...hmmm how do I do that again?
Remember I am a pool player these cues were used and abused...
The case is really cool but totally abused.
The other case I have took the abuse a little better.

You're only a has been because you choose to be one.

After sparring with you getting ready for the initial IPT tournament it was evident to me that you still have it and could still win tournaments if your heart was into it. But I know that you have other priorities in you life now and good luck to you and your husband Roy in everything that you decide to do. P.S. Say hi to Jan for me

Hey Robin, do you recall being interviewed at Los Al Race Track and doing a little trick show in your garage for some reporter back in the days? I think you were living in Cypress, my home town. I recorded that interview and have it somewhere in my house. I gotta go look for that...

I hope to see your pictures.

Jan said "Wow, tell Frank I said hi too; that's cool" :)

I remember it well, if you look at the trick shot...(I'm horrible at them, the poor guy I shot the ball out of his mouth...I freaked us both out) it really was "a nightmare" ...needless to say we had to do a couple takes LOL

Right now ESPN Classic is broadcasting a WPBA match between Jennifer Chen against Gerda Hofstatter. I'm listening to your commentary on this match up.
