You are right...it's not for ANYBODY. It is a sad commentary on our youth, that these tasteless, talentless, POS's can actually survive, let alone prosper. "Turn out the lights, before you suck my d**k"...very clever lyrics.

You sound like an intelligent sort of guy. That being said, some of the points you make defending the "right" to listen to rap, are missing MY point.

What about MY rights ?

I don't say all rap is bad...only EVERY single thing I have heard blaring from the young dudes next to me at the stoplight is BAD.

Only EVERY single "uncensored" Kid Rock or Eminem "noise" I've had to endure, in a bar or pool room ...is BAD

I'm sorry, but when I have to roll up my windows, to keep the grandkids in my car, from hearing every filthy, porn based, de-humanizing, cop-hating, woman degrading, vulgar set of lyrics those twisted minds can come up with... yes, I think it's REAL BAD.

Name any other genre of music that finds it necessary to use the shock of filthy profanity... to sell records to the kids of today.
It is beyond unconsionable that they profit from this absolute garbage.... To me, they are no better than drug dealer's in the schoolyard.
It is also way beyond making the excuse, that it is just a matter of "rebelling". It just sucks..period !!!

I've said my piece, so lets get back to some humor.

most young people dont think about these things.
i am rasing a grandson of 5 (since he was 2 months) and they really listen to the words around them, music and people. I try to keep him away from these people and their music.
