Not sure what you're referring to, please explain for the ignorant and uneducated.:)

Rack 15 balls break and run. when you miss, that rack is over, count how many balls you made...do this with 10 racks and total. Go to web site for a few other rules. Johnnyt

PS: Me thinks this game is going to take off. They have a good handicap system.

Yep, I shot a 132 that week that all the posts were on here about it.

Then a 127 the 2nd try, after starting with 4 - 15's.

I tried this game once and ran 132. Not sure how well I'd do if I tried again, but I figure once was enough for me. I much prefer rotation games.

You guys might prefer Fargo. It's very similar. Rack 15 and break hard. Balls made on break spot, scratch on break doesn't count, break is just to scatter the balls.

Start with BIH anywhere. Shoot anything, in any order, 1 point per ball.

At any point during your run, it's entirely voluntary, you can switch to rotation, and shoot the lowest ball first. Once you announce your switch any balls made legally after that count 2 points each. Balls made on a foul don't count & a foul or a miss ends your inning.

Add up your scores for 10 consecutive racks and use the following table for an estimate of overall ability.

0 - 59 ... D Player
60 - 99 ... C Player
100 - 129 ... B Player
130 - 159 ... A Player
160 - 219 ... AA Player
220 + ... Pro

John the game you mentioned is also the Game allen hopkins promotes. Except only the last 5 balls are always ran in rotation counting 2 points each, for a max of 20 points each rack. Oh if you scratch on the break its minus 2 points and any balls pocketed dont count. And you can only spot the cue ball on the head spot or foot spot after the scratch. This is an excellent practice game for concentration. My high score is 156 in a ten rack session with 4 perfect 20's/racks in a row. I love this as a practice game and its a good measurement tool for your game.

I am a league coordinator in San Antonio Tx for 6 pocket and the highest score iv seen was 139 by James Garcia. I also have a video of John schmidt shooting a perfect 5 racks.

Its hard to get people to try the game but it can be addicting. Just tell them they wont shoot over a 110 and its on!!!!

I play equal offense which is similar except you have bih behind the headstring after the break, spot all balls made on the break, and after the break you are playing 14.1 Maximum score for an inning is 20 if you execute the 14.1 break shot and get 5 more balls.

I usually get to around 100. I like it better than 14.1 for practice because you are pocketing balls all over the table instead of just half of the table like 14.1, but you still have to play position for the break shot.

a friend of mine ran 130 something on my table last winter a 9' gold crown, i think 131 or 132, it was in the low 130's. No it wasnt Max, I'm sure Max could that on a bad day. I cant say who it was, he is a undercover player.

Dick or Sam please dont say who it was, but you guys know.:D

I havent ever finished a game of 6-pocket. my ADD is so bad I cant play it, but its a great game and i fully support it, and believe it will be a winner for sure. Its just not for me. They are on a winner here and I have spoke to the top brass and their pro etc about it. I sure am excited for them. If I was making any $$$ I'd be on it. When I do got back in the chips again(soon), I will call them.

This is a great game. For those who are curious it was created by Mike Page. He made a video demonstrating it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHj6KUw8xzE&feature=channel_page

Here are the rules pointed to in the video: http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/RulesFargo.php

Was that on your table Johnnyt? Do you think its easier to play on a bar box? Im not sure if it would, because its gotta be more cramped. Ive played a few times with my son, but he gets pretty frustrated when he misses, so we play 9ball or something else.

Yes that was on my Valley. I'm not sure if it's harder or not than a 9'. Johnnyt

I'll give it a try today.

Have just installed a very tight Brunswick Gold Crown IV, 9ft, at home and is finally motived again to pick up my cue.

Do I get ball in hand after the break?

1 ball = 1 point? Call pocket?

Ball where ever it lands after break. If you have no shot you can shoot from in back of head of the table. But loose a point. There are a few more rules..go to WWW.6pocket.com
