your favourite player of all time...

Boosty.........

Why?

Superb confidence, presence, good sportsmanship, shot making ability, position play, kicking ability, cue ball control, 'the best break in the world', the shirts he wears, his accent, the way he pulls grettes, and even his cue case.

He is the epitome of filipino style exemplifying superb qualities that no other player has or will have IMHO>

<~~~~~~~~~~ Want's to play like Django.

A toss-up between these:

Ronnie O'Sullivan
Efren Reyes
Thorsten Hohmann
Evgeny Stalev

I would have to place emphasis on the first two, though.

Who's your fav. player of all time and why?

Mine is Johnny Archer I love his immense control over the cue ball.

Cowboy Jimmy Moore.

Impeccable game.

Undying determination.

Towards the end, he became a good friend and mentor, not only in pool, but also in life.

To me, he was the embodiment of class and dignity - and he could shoot a mean game of pool when he was well past 80 years old.

Clearly, he is my favorite.

Jim Rempe is my favorite for some reason. I like his personality as much as how he moves around the table. Also, Larry Lisciotti for the same reasons.

Johnny Ervolino - He played all the games even billiards. As they say in Baseball he was a five tool player.

It's a toss up between Earl Strickland, Apocalypse2012 and Big Perm.

I think Earl edges them out with his phenominal cue ball control and imagination.

For me it was a toss up between Big Perm and Cowboy Jimmy Moore - I had to flip a 3 sided coin to decide which one to go with.

I would have to say Luther Lassiter. Played all the games at the highest level and a complete gentleman from what I gather. Irving Crane and Jimmy Caras were also close in the vote tally

Ralf Souquet (overall game) Earl Strickland (shot making ability)
Efren Reyes (creativity on table) all are monsters. Souquet for this decade.
