german cushions on GC

On the receiving end? Are YOU OTLB in disguise? Because I don't think it's up to you to speak for someone else...is it? If you want to know the truth, I think your avatar speaks for you loud and clear, brain dead...from the waist up:D

Glen

PS. What is it you do for a living again?...because being a mechanic on pool tables has been half my life, how long for you?

NOw that's just not fair Glen...OTLB likes to think outside of the box, and Majic obviously likes to keep his head in the game..;)
I can appreciate that-

Good one Glen.

Would that qualify as a split personallity???? Like Sibble she had 16 friends in one dress....

Your personal insults show the real person that you are.....you need to be careful.....

FYI we have always had MSDS links for 77 and 10 on our site map (http://www.poolfelt.com/sitemap.html) due to requirements by government customers and some corporate customers.

When you're not bouncing around the rest of the forum I'm sure some of us would look forward to you sharing some of your expertise working with pool tables.

I am not here to share any expertise.Like I said before ( I am not a table mechanic), but that isn't gopipng to stop me from doing what I think is the right thing.....I get some useful info from some of you..........after sifting thru the BS. AND there is plenty of BS or is that glue I smell????

The name calling and insults that go on in here is juvenile and nobody in here can justify denegrating another human for purposes of entertainment. RKC obviously thinks he is all that, he may be as a mechanic but not as a person.

Actually Glen is stand up guy in real life. Diamond bought him a new truck and trust him with the truck and $30,000 of merchandise + truck without a deposit. He has never turned down a job for Diamond that was too tugh just look back on some of his installs.

Here we have the truth and have fun on the forum sometimes it does get out of hand but generaly speaking its all good.

If you want perfection go to another forum for no name calling perfect spelling forum site so we can have our site back for the rest of us users 1,000+ and growing.

no names just good bye...

@#$%^&%^ Craig

You don't know me, and never will...because you're just a poser, pretending to be someone that you're not!

Ok, I have to throw my .02 out there. You keep harping on name-calling and insults, yet you consistently make sure you get your jabs in on every post, all while calling everyone else on here with an opinion immature. Come on, dude.

What does all this have to do with rubber profile? How productive and educational has this post become? A fun departure from the daily grind? No, I don't see that either.

Buddy I can tell you that your hostility and hypocrisy towards highly respected members of this community won't get your far on this board. Just a little advice if you ever want to be taken seriously by these guys.

Hey...I heard your mother calling you...she said to get off HER computer and go outside and play with the other little boys your age:p

Meaning...if you don't like the way WE play here....go find somewhere ELSE to play!;)

Glen

PS. It took me over 2 years to build this mechanic's forum to what it is today....mechanic's all talking, sharing ideas...even if they are off the wall, and comunicating...for the good of all those that read here, and I didn't do it alone, I had the help of all the other mechanic's on here...SO....YOU can either read, contribute, learn....or shut the hell up and go away!

IMO - dipshit is a more appropriate name for someone that insists on head games and stupidity.

Consider
- any cushion mfg, to include those in germany, makes them to standard profile sizes
- if you use the correct profile on a GC no need to change the bevel
- what's the point of this thread?
RICK from the FELT Pros

here is a side by side profile of Artemis INTER which I took for granted everyone would have known which one I was talking about. This rubber and Brunswick SS do NOT have the same profile. If they don't have the same profile how can you say you don't have to change the bevel? if you put these on without modifying the rail liner will the play area come up a bit short of 50 x 100? and what about ball speed, english etc.

side note: slates lined up perfect. no need for fill

John, the cushions are both 1 3/16" from nose to back, they both when installed on a GC hit the 1 7/16" nose height, no they both are not moulded the same but produce the same height. No they don't both play the same...because they don't share the same exact profile or compound of rubber.

Glen

So then the case is closed! GC rails do NOT NEED any change in bevel for Artemis INTER.

Might there be degree s change in bevel that would make them play better? I seem to remember something about this. Just curious about them as I am going into production on billiard blocks and want to make them correctly.
