Although fairly new to AZ (July 2009), AJ6788 (aka AJ, aka Hiccups, and Billiardsfreak in the chat) is jumping in with both or her well manicured-polished-feet. Well manicured in the sense that the folks at TJ's Classic Billiards (Watervlle, Maine), where she works, are nothing short of top notch -- as are the players there. Some of the haircuts of the players might be a bit suspect though (sorry "Spikey Mikey" Dechaine 
). Anyway, back to AJ: She has been groomed well and they have turned her into somewhat of a dynamo in terms of wanting to promote our sport via the live stream.
TJ's has and will continue to host solid events -- so this is a perfect place to stream from -- another place we can watch and sweat (Pay Pal has gotta love AZers!). They have $tepped up to the plate yet again and put together an excellent streaming package. A test was run a couple of days ago and it was at worse EXCELLENT.
While streaming, AJ will have her well manicured fingers full whilst interacting with TJ's, TD, score/status runners, broadcaster, commentator(s), moderator(s), customers thereat, requests from the chat, etc., etc., etc. Anyone that streams can tell you that more goes on behind the scenes then is realized! She and the folks at TJ's want this to go as smoothly as possible and not lack what us maniacs need to get our fix. This want lies not with them, but with us -- the viewers and sweaters.
Let me cut to the chase here. AJ needs someone to put together and maintain brackets for some upcoming events -- The Joss Event this weekend, Maine Ladies State 9-Ball Championships Oct 10 + many more that are in the works. She, or more correctly "they", are seeking a marriage with AZ in this regard. They are realists and know that if anyone is going to succeed in getting things done right pool-wise -- it's AZ!
Sure, there will be things that go wrong during some of the first streams; however, with our input and help during the initial stages and their intestinal fortitude -- we will have yet another outstanding sweat site.
Someone jump in and PM AJ6788 and get this thing rocking. I'd do it but I will be moderating ("if" I get my honey-dos done), posting updates, answering questions in the chat, researching for info, working with ustream, enabling important URLs, and most importantly "dropping the hammer" :smash: on anyone disrespecting the game, it's players, the site, or anyone within the chat. <Me don't play -- me want a positive imagine to prevail in our sport -- me want what you want ..... besides me ain't got no clue how to make or maintain dem-dare bracket thingys. Me would get darn right frustrated and throw dis here computer out-dah Hillbilly winder. [Sorry Charlie, couldn't help myself man -- you know I love yea]>
