SW in Vegas craigslist

If it was really a SW cue and the seller of this cue contacted SW they would have some knowlege of what it was worth, they would have placed a phone number in their ad to sell right away. Something is not right...

The seller is oviously not the original owner.
I just feel sorry for the person that lost the cue.

Aaaaaaannnnnnnnd being in Vegas they are unable to take it to Laurie to look at?
What a crock.
But on the flip side,it's a great looking cue!

to inform everyone I just got a reply from the seller and he said it just sold for 400 US DOLLARS..LOL...KINDA FUNNY HE SPECIFIED US DOLLARS..

Im new here ... I emailed the guy to go look at it ... im sure its not a SW but if it was a howard wouldn't it be signed and dated ? what would you guys offer for this cue ?

yes it would and it is in the area of 700 i would say but there are more informative people on here

I emailed him this morning and here was the reply:

the cue is original, it's going for #3,000.00 US , if you want the certificate, price will change, not by much. I have spoken with original makers here in Las Vegas, and the will certify it for you.

FYI

Request local pick up! Bet you don't hear back.
My guess is it is a foreign scam and they stoled the wrong pictures.
Ask for a dated picture like under todays headlines of Las Vegas times. :idea2:

By the way, you have posted in the wrong section.:)

Why is it the wrong section there was or is a cue for sale? Poeple post all the time what they have or found on ebay

I agree, I didn't think it was the wrong forum for the post, considering it started out as a "heads up on a cue for sale" It's not like we have a sub-forum "sales of probably fake, possibly scammed cues that most likely can't be verified" There may have been someone here that had also seen the ad (not hard to find stuff on CL) maybe they were saved from disaster by seeing this post and responses.

Sorry

:sorry:Okay Maybe I am interputing the sticky to literally.

Sorry.

yep I got the same, he said for authentication it would be an extra $500, and I was thinking BS! No one is going to charge you $500 to authenticate their cue, I bet barry wouldn't tell you that if you had one that gus made...he would be excited as anyone to see it.
