I watched several of Donny's matches at the open. I was very impressed with how he played. While most of the top players seemed to play a similar style he didn't. He played very smart and it seemed that he was able to put added pressure on his opponents with his breaking and safety play.

Shane is not going to feel extra pressure from that. He will play the table.

Also Id like to put a good word in for Shane, excepting all Donny's stipulations and gettin up there and playing. Now i know one reason Shane has so many of these TAR matches. He has confiidence in his abilites and apparently doesnt have to dictate everything. He just wants to play and gamble. Good on you Shane.
 
I think Shane is the favorite in this match. And yes excepting everything Donny asked for shows that he just wants to play. I will really enjoy watching this.

I am afraid you have me confused. I said that I was going to do it the same way Accu-Stats did it for the Open. The only difference is I want to use a U-Stream chat room instead of the Java chat they were using. The plan is to use WMP instead of the AVW viewer with attached chat.

Another option is, I can resize the AVW viewer to any size I as long as I am not using their chat function. I don't know until I get in and test things.

Personally I want to get away from Windows Media and go to Flash. As soon as AVW gets it together that is what we will use.

Ron,

We have never been to The Crooked Cue before. I have spoke with one of the owners and they seem pretty willing to work with us as far as lay out goes. But until we get there and see what they are willing to move around and what they have for seating I would just be guessing by putting up something for sale now.

If possible we will have VIP seating. If not it will be probably $15 a day admission to watch the match. I am guessing we are gonna have to curtain off a portion of the room if we want to do a gate and depending on how exactly it is laid out we may not even be able to charge a gate.

So long story short is that we want to charge a gate but until we see it I don't even know if we can. It will either be free or $15 a day and there maybe some VIP seating. But right now I just don't know.

See you in about a week and we can figure it out together :D

ok sorry for the confusion, just curious. but i know what ever you decide will be the best possible option for your customers. ty for your response.
maybe i'll look for ya this weekend to see if your doing a test stream as you mention previously.

Jcin, Was Hammerheads considered for the room? They have a good pit section for action matches. I am going anyway but was curious on the location.

I was wondering the same thing. I like the crooked cue, but it isnt the biggest venue.

There should be a pretty big turnout for the hometown fav Donny.

That is the room Donny picked. It's all rock and roll to me, I have never been to Clearwater before so have no idea what is around there. From the sound of it Crooked Cue is a nice place with a Diamond so we will make it work the best we can.

Eric...I didn't see that post. I knew Donny had spent most of his time at Hammerheads. Odd that neither Sandy nor Buddy (the owners) mentioned that Donny plays there at all, let alone all the time. I was in there at least half a dozen times last April, but never saw him (which means exactly nothing!:grin:).
