I could give a sh** about the stupid rep system, if one could even call it that.
I have no problem giving score updates to my AZ peeps who are genuinely interested in the match and would probably watch it if they could, because I am SURE they would rather watch it live than read updates on a nit-picky forum where some members are accusing them of not supporting pool...WTF?

That'll sure show the guys at TAR, esp since they have nothing to do with the viewers decision to give updates or not.

I would like to add that even though we all love watching the Pinoys and Euros play, it is gratifying to watch two American champs lock horns for the cash!
This country has TOO MUCH TALENT for these matchups not to occur more often (sorry for the poor grammar, I am still a little ticked off about people whining about posting the live scores).
I like both of these guys and really don't care who wins (I have no side ackshun), it is just nice to see it happening on home soil, especially in a pool hotbed like Florida!

You know it's totally possible that there are people in the world who, despite ALL THE PROMOTION, didn't happen to know that TAR is streaming a match today. Those people might happen to stumble in here and see the scores being updated and want to go and buy the match.
It's ludicrous to compare an update thread with being there. For those that come in check AZ to get updates they WISH that they could have the PPV. I check AZ on my phone all the time - I can't watch streaming video on my phone.
A brand owner would hope that people think enough of the brand to unselfishly promote it to the outside world who can't be there in person.
It's all part of being a community. For the updaters THANKS THANKS THANKS

To those who equate supporting TAR with supporting pool - not quite. If you really want to support pool then get out there and get more kids and more people playing pool. THAT'S what brings more fans to the game and more fans bring more money into it.
Donating a box of chalk or some decent cues to the boys and girls clubs or other equivalent rec centers in your area, donating some coaching time, organizing a league, that supports POOL.
Buying TAR PPV supports a small segment of pool that caters to pool fanatics who want to see top level high stakes matches. They are worthy of support but not with the GUILT TRIP.
