Please explain Moniker

ok, the real, boring, story behind trustyrusty is:

it's the wedges I used (made by Cobra - see avatar) when I participated on golf forums since the mid-90's...I also have had a gazillion email addy's with it (AOL, Yahoo, MSN, many, many others), along with my current one's gmail dot com, and sbcglobal dot net.

So, no deep hidden meaning, or any cool backround to it, just figured - why change? . :grin: :cool:
 
Well, I was born in the house my father built... blah blah blah...

I suspect Nympfisher registered and then started getting embarrassed that we might think he was hungry and on the prowl, so he started this whole thread just to explain his own name.

It reminds me of Paul James singing "I'm a Real Kingfisher," but I couldn't find the lyrics online to tease you with. Pity- it made the other jab funnier.

I used to free write in chinese...

When I was younger I used to free write down the sides of papers while sitting in school in what I thought of as chinese (I don't know chinese BTW) One of the characters that kept recurring, I started to associate as being me...

I later saw that it was very close to the symbol for Jade.

Jade being a girls name, I went through the alphabet adding a letter till I found one that fit.

Hence Jaden. When I looked up the meaning of the name, it fit me perfectly for that time in my life and still does. Before that my online nicks were always Kevster.... Now they are always some variation of Jaden...

I consider Wang to be the uniter of male and female... In san francisco it may be the uniter of male and male..

I have a wolf in my pocket. No really, i do. Actually, a friend of mine said that i stalked the table like a wolf, and that i stared at a pocket one night like a wolf eyeballing a rabbit. True story,but if i do that now, i get a headache.
 
my mantra for when i play is, "got to shot center pocket" You can make anything if you shoot center pocket. If you aim at something very small at the back of the pocket, it actually becomes hard to miss.
 
When I first registered on AZB forums I needed a screen name so I asked my friend for a suggestion and he said "Well, you're a big, fat, pool player and (originally) from Secaucus (NJ).. so how about "Secaucus Fats". :grin:
 
Given name is Matthew grew up on the east coast...
I was something of a card mechanic in my youth...hence the "fingers". Spelled it a bit different to sort of represent my accent.
