Nice Trilogy!

But instead of a gunnin'

Miss Mary went runnin'

To parts of the world yet unseen

Omg pounded her chest

As she was crowned the best

AZ’s Woofer & sniffer, our Queen!

The end

Matt,

Very nice trilogy. Bottom line, Mary peed in Melinda's Cheerio's. Never a good idea to spin up a little Asian, speaking from much experience. They will make you pay and pay and pay unto the seventh generation!!

Mary just received a very public flogging for her transgressions at the tournament and slights on the forum. I have no idea of the degree to which this was all appropriate however it was highly entertaining to sit on the sidelines.

That was a nice little rhyme, yourself!

"Never a good idea to spin up a little Asian.
Speaking from much experience,
they will make you pay and pay until the seventh generation!"

I agree, never ever tick off a little Asian girl. Unless, of course, you enjoy living a nightmare.

Sorry you didn't get it....

Here's my 2 favorite parts of the whole saga:

1) Jaden posting that some people were too "self absorbent"

2) You posting your "sediments"

Thanks

Kevin

That was a play on words meaning that some people are self absorbed and are absorbent of their own B.S. hence the name self absorbent asshole (asshole being the place that the shit in B.S. comes from), while trying to call other people out on what they themselves perceive as B.S. without having any personal knowledge of it. Sorry if you have difficulty understanding an allegory.

Not any more. Thanks for giving me that clear view into your mind. However I'm still a little confused, is it a play on words or is it an allegory? (or are they the same thing?)

Thanks

Great I can see you are a real smart guy. So I'm sure you'll be able to help me see the allegorical play on words you were using when you characterized some people in LA as "too self-absorbent"? I'm a little slow.

Thanks again

Kevin

They absorb their own B.S. while trying to call out others on perceived B.S. So they are self absorbed and self absorbant with literal B.S. which would be using absorbent of literal B.S. to figuratively represent being self absorbed mentally.

I don't know how much more clear I can be. and I didn't say LA I said socal. I actually don't know many players from LA and the few that I do are great guys from what little I can tell.

I'm not gonna call out individuals that I don't know well or I'd be guilty of being a hypocrite.

I can see that you are frustrated with my slowness. Anyway thanks for the explanation, even if I can't understand it. Silly me, I thought when you called people "self-absorbent" I thought it was just a malapropism, and a pretty funny one at that. Great to learn it wasn't a mistake but actually a very complex play on words allegory about So Cal players but not LA players. Deep stuff.

Maybe the guy that posted his "sediments" will also chime in and explain the deep allegorical meaning of that one.

Thanks again

Kevin

No you thought that I didn't know what I was saying.

Are you sure you didn't just think that I used the wrong word because I didn't know any better? Cause that's sure the way your responses to it sounded, although I can definitely see why you could have thought it was a malapropism.....

Who could have ever thought that?????????

Now that I've read this:

"They absorb their own B.S. while trying to call out others on perceived B.S. So they are self absorbed and self absorbant with literal B.S. which would be using absorbent of literal B.S. to figuratively represent being self absorbed mentally. I don't know how much more clear I can be."

I think I now have a clear handle on just where you are at.

Thanks again

I really had thought this would have died by now and I am reluctant to bring it to the top again but here it goes.

My thoughts are either Mary Avina just bit of more then she could chew or others stuffed her mouth too full. I bear no ill feelings about Mary although I am bit disappointed she did not reply or did I miss it? BTW when I visited her site I read nothing where she said she was a word beater at playing pool.

Example. I played a very young man the other day who was I thought was very disrespectful. I talked to the elder statesmen about how he misbehaved and they all said he's just a kid, let it go. Maybe that's what should happen here. Let it go.

Speaking for myself I would be happy if I received no replies on this subject. That would mean to me this has been put to rest once and for all. JMO.

there was a strong mix of humor and truth in the original statement

"little Asian girl"

Nice. No wonder she walks around with that potato chip on her shoulder.

Kevin

Kevin,

Living in the same house as one and having a handful of them in the family, "little Asian girl" was tongue in cheek as was the rest of the post that it was said in. They rarely make you pay past the sixth generation, "unto the seventh generation" was a little literary license too.

Underneath the humor is some fact. Mary spun up a lady that knows how to hold a grudge, . . . . and get even! Melinda made a well thought out project of nailing Mary. Whatever happened next assuming Mary couldn't jump her skill a bunch before January, Mary lost. Either a lot of "face" on the forum or three thousand dollars! Of course if what Mary said is true about putting years of serious training into martial arts after an incident, she might be able to make a pretty serious jump in speed in a few months. A lot easier to make big strides at the lower end of the scale than when someone is already near the top.

I think there is room for both on AZB and hope that they both stick around. We get mired in the same ol' same ol' around here much too often and they both provide a little fresh air!

I love "spun up", haven't heard that phrase on years and it always makes me picture that cartoon character the Tasmanian Devil.

I also like your room on AZB for both thought. I'm with you, more diversity is good for any community, especially one created for conversation and sharing of ideas like AZB.

I also like OMGWTF's "projects". She's a great grudge player and so far at least, her grudges have come from the right place. I'm sure no woman trying to be a serious pool player could have been very happy to see Mary's self-portrayal as one of them.

Thanks

JMO.

JMHO, one of the problems with society today is that the younger generation is allowed to get away with things, ie: let it go and what happens is that they grow to adulthood and never find that maturity so now we have a group of older citizens who cant act in a respectful manner because they never learned that there are consequences to their actions. if "the mary avina" learns from this then i say more power to the forum!

Millions of years of human evolution and, in the end, OMG is just another lioness pissing on her territory. Wow!
