Unfortunately, at this point I couldn't care less. The process as a whole is a joke and matchroom took the prestige out of what used to be an honor for a player to play for their country.

I'm glad its finally over so people will stop arguing over who is the best choice. If matchroom pulls this "stuff" again next yr, I'll be taking a vacation from the internet because I have no desire to watch this crap ever again. Remember folks, its just my opinion. :wink:

I hope they do the same next year, but I also hope that they will let the players know well in advance how to get a spot.

And most of all, I hope the 5th member for Team Europe will also be picked the same way.

I think this is THE best move they have ever did, when it comes to promote the event.

anyone with the proper computer skills(hacker) could have done what was needed to ensure who they wanted to win.


this vote thing is BS from top to bottom.

Smart marketing, yes. Well defined qualifying rules, desperately needed. Using the same method to pick both teams, only fair. Me being around to wade through the crap thats gone on here lately because of it, no way.

I'm glad some people enjoyed it and I'm sure matchroom has enjoyed the exposure which means they may very well do it again. It just wasn't my cup of tea and I'll opt out browsing billiard message boards during the time that they do it next yr. Cheers :cool:
