What's in your case ?

I rotate between all my cues but for the last two weeks this set worked just fine for me....

My Playing cue - Schon LTD1405 with a Predator 314-2 shaft

Jump-Break cue - Players J/B with brown phenolic ferrule and Samsara hard leather J/B tip (used to have a White Diamond tip).

My everyday case - Predator Vinyl by Instroke.

the bottom fell off your instroke? was it damaged before that happened?

Nope, the only damage on it was with the latch on the lid and it was repaired by instroke. The case was great and I put it through a lot of wear and tear over the years and the leather around the base finally gave way.

As you can see from my last three threads started here on the Gallery some days ago,
i changed my cues often the last months or so. At the moment it looks like that :

Jack Justis 2x4 - black elephant hide, black pockets, snake inlays ......
Gina Special 17a with ivory joint, leather wrap and ivory silver stich rings
Original Jerico Stinger J/B - i love that thing and jumping is awesome
And of course some chalks, a Sandman, some Kamui and Moori tips, cue papers and much more.........

Erich

> One of a kind Runde Schon, with 2 original ivory ferruled shafts.

Early Joss SP,2 shafts,neither original.

Bill McDaniel jump butt, made to look like the front of a plain Schon, fits an old Micarta ferruled Schon shaft.

Several pieces of chalk. I typically use an old PBTA logo National Tournament Chalk, but have recently found a couple local places that have the same chalk in a black wrapper. I also tend to have a couple fresh pieces of Master in there as well.

Tip Tamer tool. This is basically a curved Tip Tapper, but much sharper and has no handle. These are available at Unique Products.

Small piece of leather cut out of a 20 yr old, worn slick wallet, for tip side burnishing.

Emergency sanding kit,2x3" pieces from 400-2000 grit, almost never used except for 2000.

Small bottle of denatured alcohol, for wax removal in humid conditions.

Small can with Meguiar's #26 carnauba wax.

Small, flat "travel size/sample" Shower to Shower baby powder, refilled with corn starch type powder. These are like .89 at most Wal-Mart's,usually found with the small shampoo bottles.

I don't have one currently, but the above mentioned baby powder is usually replaced with a couple of the Joss powder bags.

Bottle of Pro-Glide hand lotion.

Microfiber hand towel, never seen another one like it so no idea where to find another.

Scotch-Brite microfiber rag,for shaft and cue ball cleaning. One corner of this rag is impregnated with carnauba wax.

5" square piece of 860 Simonis, for use when bridging off a pocket casting or rubber pocket liner.

Glass bottle for linen wrap polishing.

Red Circle cue ball.

Spinali removeable bridge-head.

Uni-Ball ink pen and Sharpie.

Small piece of white fleece sweatshirt material, impregnated with white polishing compound.

The case itself is a solid black, untooled vinyl Instroke copy,Stroke Sports logo,3x7. Tommy D.

Wow!!

The cues are beautiful and the case is outrageous. Is there are story on the talcum powder? Is it in a can? There's gotta be a story.

Outstanding set up. Thanks for sharing. Oh-the straps on the case look plenty beefy for the loaded weight.

Wow!!
