Short Video of Some One Pocket Shots

Just a vid of me practicing some one pocket shots that I enjoy, hope you enjoy it too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoCptMcj_BU
Nice video. You seem to be a very good player. I would like to offer a couple of observations about your shooting mechanics. Take it for what it's worth, but I wanted to give you some constructive feedback.
1) Head position creeps up during your delivery stroke.
2) Cue tip in the finish position is erratic. Sometimes you pull the cue back, or up in the air. I am not a SPF instructor, but I know the importance of freezing the finish position to check where the tip is. This is a good feedback tool to help diagnose stroke errors.

Thanks guys for the comments. I have to say I have terrible mechanics and my bridge hand is horrific. I am like a bobble head at times when I play, haha. I have a ton to learn and a long way to go in my pool journey, right now its just fun for me. Thanks for the observations though.

I will take 9-6 and the breaks, sir.

(I ask for the same from JoeyA, but he's a nit and won't give it up.. :D)

Where u been Russ? You need to come back up to stix and show me a few more tricks!

Lol.. Is this Eric?

(I've been practicing at G&B's in HH lately.. Until I get my stroke smoothed out, tight pockets aren't really doing anything for me. I can practice until close for $5.)

very nice video Lenny

Some great shots, nicely put together. Now for some criticism, you play way to good! I'd have to have 10-4 and the breaks please:wink:
Have to say you give alot back to the pool world with all of your streaming, gifts, freebies, donations, video,....................

Constructive criticism can't hurt and the shooter can take it for what it's worth (another player trying to help). It never bothers me to have someone (even a lesser player) point out something i'm doing wrong. There's so much to pool that it's hard for most of us to get it all right.........

I actually like your bridge had position. It appears natural and flat to me. I like the open bridge myself.

Classy, thanks.....SPF=randyg

Hi Randy, I know my mechanics are whacked out. What do you see in this video?, I know I should keep my head down but what else do you think. Thanks.

P.S. There are other links in my signature to see me playing 8 and 9 ball.

Thanks everyone who enjoyed this. The best part to me about this game is giving something back, makes me feel good.:smile:
