Hi Guys,
I've been having some success with selling these custom shafts with no ferrule locally for $110.00 plus each so I've decided to post some for sales on AZ. All these shafts come stand with premium layered Molavia Tip (Soft, Medium, Hard).
If anyone is interest, please let me know as I have about 10 shafts that ready to go and can be available for the following joint type (Unilock, Radial, 5/16-18,5/16-14 and 3/8-10). Please note these shafts has no ferrule and no collar and our layer tip acts as the ferrule that protect and enhances the quality shaft wood natural hit. As there are no ferrule, these shaft naturally are low deflection but has the solid feel of a regular quality shaft. It's like having the best of both world...natural 360 degree Low Deflection (similar to predator, ob1,etc) and the natural solid hit of high quality shaft wood.
I will post the shafts available up shortly so you can view the quality of each shaft. Here's some that are sold, each shaft is tested to ensure that it has the solid hit.
As for references, Jose Parica was one of the first that bought one of my shaft and played with it in the US open and mostly recently I made him 2 extra shafts for his tournament at Turning Stone. He really like the feel of the natural wood without the ferrule and will be using this as his playing shaft. Hopefully he'll win a major with it....LOL. I know there are also a few members on here that have tried these shafts so any feedback and comments are welcome.
I also have break shafts as well with a Joe Picone phenolic tip. I had one made for myself and it break and jump surprisingly REALLY good...feel like the ice breaker that I've tried but it has a cleaner hit!
The only problem with making these shafts is that it hard to find quality shaft wood as only a small percentage can be used.
