What current tip is closest to Moori II?

I would defenitly say wizards also, it's my opinion that they play like the old moori tips of years ago. They hold their shape, I have less miscue's then the newer moori tips. The new moori tips seem like they glaze over in a little while of useing them which caused alot of miscues. I just use a tip pick once a week or so, depends on how many hours I play a week, but I think they are the closest. And the price is very good also <<ED
I like the Wizards also. I use the Hard Wizard and think they might be slightly harder than the old Moori tips but I enjoy the harder tips. What is really good is that they don't mushroom like the Moori's did and even better they are about $5-$7.50 a tip which is great.
Moori III's and Q's.....
I don't have any Moori II's but have some of the others. I would concur with the other folks here as well -- the Wizards play GREAT! :wink:

Try Kamuii
You might try Kamuii M or MS. IMO they are the premier layered tip.
The M is really close & they last for a very long time. They resist glazing w/ regular tapping.Also, very consistant from tip to tip.

to me, the wizards are a harder, and the wizards also have a odd clicking noise that you get from allot of layered tips.
my recomendation is the DaVinci's from Longoni, they hold chalk really well and feel like a Moori. Not much info on these tips here.
If you want more cueball spin, try the Kamui med, or Kamui black soft.
I just can't get around how tall these tips are.

Black soft Kamui
I put on 1 of my shafts this cue came with 2 pretty near identical shafts - the shaft I had been using for my player had a medium Wizard on it, I put the Black Kamui on its twin.
I am sold on the black Kamui I will try a different tip but it will be another black Kamui - maybe a medium or the supersoft. I break with the soft and it shows no sign of mushrooming.
If you try 1 - I bet you will like it. but I have to say I only hit with the Black Kamui - I'm not sure about the rest of their tips

I agree, tried wizard, but will never change, after playing with Kamui Black Med. I used the Supersoft for a bit, but couldn't mase like I wanted to. The Kamui holds it shape, holds chalk and just plain out works!

Everyone I know who has had a Wizard put on has told me that they play like the early Mooris. I have several customers who swear by them.
