One pocket is not that slow.

I just learned how to play about a year ago. Right after I learned how, I started a race to 3 set with one of the old timers at the room I play out of.

Just annoying, between games cliping the extra branches & leaves that start growing off the stick Im using.

Funny, seems I heard the same thing about the WNBA when they started up...

They seem to be doing pretty well so no worries.

Oh wait, they have sweaty women, boobs... and a time limit... whoops.

well at least you still have suspenseful edge of your seat strategy, tactical positioning, well planned attack formations, ambush excitement!!

Now if we could just get rid of chess, bridge & backgammon you could have a great new fan base to draw from!!

I ran a 1-pocket tournament once......
I had to put them on the calendar.

One guy Marched up to the table.....
But he didn't shoot 'til April

umm, well... 1pocket is only slow if you don't know what you're doing.

I was down in Florida this last week and played a guy who thought that 1pocket was all about bunting the balls up table just because the table was triple-shimmed. I quickly showed him that was not such a good strategy and was winning games about every 15 minutes. If that's too slow for you, I apologize.

When you where young,you'd laugh at the guy's with the strollers..
Now when you hear the guy at the table say that depends..you can't

ROTFLMAO - THAT is a good one! I love one pocket and don't think it's slow at all but this thread is great!
