WTB : Searing Cue

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. In another thread I suggested a person go to Searing's with $2500 cash in hand and prostrate themselves daily in front of The Cue Master like an Buddhist novitiate , begging for the instant enlightenment available through hitting just one shot with a blessed Searing cue.

I realized that like most people that tell others what they should do I was actually suggesting to myself, so I have my $2500 together and my throw pillow to place my offering on. I'm ready to fly to FL and make my plea over and over to The Master until he breaks down and makes me a cue (sorta like that sword guy in Kill Bill). However, I thought (hoped) maybe someone out in AZ land could save me the flight. Anyone got a Searing to sell me? I need the enlightenment badly as I think I have some bad karma from a recent past life and I'm sure much good karma would come to the person who sells me one of these wands.

Signed in the forearm and all original please.

Thanks

Kevin

I have a few...

but you'll need $2500 in each hand...and maybe more $ up your sleeve depending on the cue:grin:

Good luck on your search....it will be worth it.

Searing cues are simply amazing.

Agreed. "Amazing" is definitely the right word for his cues.

For $2500, you'll likely be looking at a sneaky/conversion-styled cue from 5-10 years ago. I have seen them out there...and for right around the money you're looking to spend, sir.

A nice PJ or Merry Widow cue would be closer to the $3.5k-$4k pricepoint...and that's without much inlay work in it.

As a Searing Cue owner, I can tell you that they are most DEFINITELY worth going after. Without a doubt the very best cue I've ever owned...bar none.

Best of luck on your search, sir. I hope you find what you're looking for!!

Happy New Year to you and yours.

Mark

That's it!!!!

Forget dinner, we'll go hunger strike on his front lawn, he'll cave with all the media pressure and we'll have our sticks in like a week (how long can we go w/out food?).

Kev, I know how you feel I am anxious to get home in Feb and get my hands on this, it was just lacking the wrap and should be ready soon.

Is that "Searing soon"? or normal soon?

It looks like Dennis got those points to point somewhere close to completely exact center of the rings at both the top and bottom of the butt. That must have been lucky for him.

Thanks

Pretty much one of the best out there and my 1ST choice for a player.
As already mentioned by Mark, the conversions are available for about $2500 and they are good choices.
But if you want a sharp shooter, an all out Searing blank is the way to go and you will need a bit more.

Here are 2 of 3 of my Searings (neither for sale)...

Good luck in your search and hopefully you can find a gem.

I'm normally not much of a Hoppe fan for some reason, but that cue you just picked up is the bomb.

Innovation within the boundaries of traditional design. That's what you want from a maker.

Thanks for showing (can I see your 3rd please?)

Do not have a picture of it by itself.
But here is my collection prior to some changes since I picked up the latest Searing and another cue...

Will be updating my pictures after the snow melts (all my pictures are taken in natural light).

If there any questions I can answer on Searings (my search for both Searings and Herceks has been long - since 2005), I will be glad to answer if you PM me.
Again, good luck in your search as I am sure you will be happy with a Searing... Amazing Players!

Kevin, no Dennis will have to me when I get back to the states from Iraq in Feb. Dennis put alot of time and work into getting those points DEAD CENTER. I believe it will be finished up with a Chocolate Brown elephant wrap, at least that was what we were discussing but I was leaving it to him. Dennis also mentioned to me that the points were NOT RECUTS.

As for Searing time and my time as you all ready know most cue makers have different clocks than we do.
