Fact is, Jeanette Lee can play.
Fact is, that at this point in time, Shanelle Loraine = a Tomato Can, who sucks at pool.
As for looks, who the hell cares, and even if i was like, "WOW, that girl is SMOKING HOT!!!!", i would turn around and walk away no matter how hot she was, if when i started talking to her, i found out she was a stupid as a plate of chicken.
Of the times i went to a WPBA event, or watched the WPBA on a stream, honestly, i wasn't watching in the hopes that the i might get a nice glimpse of one of the girls asses bent over directly in front of me, and i wasn't watching in the hopes that they would have a wardrobe malfunction like Janet Jackson did, just so i could get my jollies.
I was actually watching the pool that they played.
This guy likes thin blonds with fake knockers, that guy likes chunky latino brunettes with big butts, this girl likes olive skinned guys with chiseled shoulders, that girl likes the tall teddy bear type.
Like, HELLOOOO!!!...Everyone is different...what's so damn hard to understand about that?
Let whoever, market themselves as they see fit. I'm not buying any autographed posters, nor do i want to be photographed standing next to them, so what do i care.

No. Shannele Lorraine is a product of Jeanette Lee's hard work to being sexy back into women's pool. Jeanette was often reviled by her fellow competitors for her choice of outfits and her demeanor on and off the playing field. She however is the one WPBA player who taught all of them, that looks and sex appeal can be a plus. As a result a lot of the women on the WPBA began paying more attention to their appearance, outfits, and demeanor.
None of them, including Jeanette, forgot that the fundamental requirement to be a professional pool player was being able to play however. This is why Shanelle Lorraine will never be more than a marketing gimmick used by those who can't afford the real thing. (unless she actually learns to play and is abel to qualify for the WPBA tour).
Make no mistake Jeanette Lee can play. If you aren't a top notcher in one pocket you might not like it playing her some one-hole. And one thing is certain, she will look smoking hot while running out as well.

Those of you who are dissing her ought to consider that she has brought pool to more people than any of her fellow professional players, male or female. Jeanette Lee is promoting pool most of the year, year after year.
It's just riduculous to disrespect her as has been in this thread. It's mean spirited and uncalled for. Jeanette is a loving giving person who loves her profession, loves the game, is fun to be around and who is raising two children at the same time. She has battled crippling back pain and still keeps a schedule that would destroy most other people.
In short she is an inspiration and should be accorded the respect she has earned.

That tournament had an odd format. It was won by Danny Harriman, and you guessed it, I was the only one to beat him as well. I only lost one match in the entire tournament and somehow came in 9th

You really need to start a NEW thread with that picture and see who can come up with the best line for that picture. That's GREAT!
Yeah, it was a 40 player tournament with 8 groups of 5. Each group played a round robin. The top 2 players from each group advanced to the next level.
So at that point, there were 4 groups of 4. Another round robin. Unfortunately round robins of 4 players don't work very well, because if one player in the group goes 0-3, it's possible for the other three players to all go 2-1. That's what happened in my group. One player lost all 3. Mike Dechaine beat me and lost to Danny Harriman. Danny lost to me and beat Mike, and I beat Danny and lost to Mike. It came down to ball count, and Danny advanced. So I went 6-1, was eliminated, and came in 9th. Kind of silly.
