WTB: Cue 400-700

I've just started playing again in the last month and bought a players. Now I want a cue that I know is a good cue and will be confident in it. I'm not sure what maker but the player I have now is 19oz I like birdseye, ebony, curly maple, stained birdseye/curly.... I just want a good cue which I won't HAVE to buy another in the next few years and I KNOW it plays well. I've been looking at Olivier...Dale Perry...Joss... I don't really know what plays good and what doesn't so i'm asking for you guys advice and what you have for sale THANKS in advance(sorry if i repeated myself it's late)

How do I know which cuemakers are good and which ones aren't?? Is there a list of cuemakers somewhere? I mean... there is a guy in my area that has a Dale Perry which he bought 4 yrs ago and it cost $2800 and people say to stay away from Dale Perry.. ya know I don't have any idea.. I JUST WANT A GOOD PLAYING CUE..

I have two cues that may work

I have a Carolina Custom four ebony points four veneers bushka diamonds two shafts $600. Four point Nova with paduak boxes one shaft new cue $650.00 Do a advanced search for breakin8 there will be pics for both cues there.

Hello i have a predator 5k8 forsale and it /cw a z shaft and morri tip. This cue has onlt hit ten games and hits very solid. Let me know.
 
Cue idea

You might consider posting your approximate location. If you are anywhere near another AZer who has one for sale in your price range - you might have the opportunity to try before you buy.

Just a thought.
 
I have a preditor SE-10 if we can come to a fair price

I have a GREAT playing preditor SE-10 itis in 95-99% and I wanted $1000.00 but if you can come up I can come come down,also it is a Uni-Loc and I have as many shafys as you want

2 Paul daytons

I have a couple of Paul Dayton cues for sale. $750 which includes shipping in US. Paul makes a heck of cue!!! Both are six pointers. Tulipwood has 3hi/3lo and both cues have matching ringwork. If you want better pics of rosewood let me know. Here are the specs:

Just a word of advice, watch the production cues cause if you ever want to sell them again, you won't get nearly as much out of them. And for the money you are looking to spend, you can get some damn nice customs!

Here's a good one

Beautiful virtually new Troy Downey cue. 2 13mm shafts/w Moori Med tips.
One shaft unplayed the other has about 3 hrs play on it. Absolutely mint.
Straight and solid hitter.
19.0 oz. Cocobolo forearm and Butt sleeve with 4 ebony points w 3 veneers, white, black and white. Great ring work in all 5 positions.

Contact Joe Baker. He has a gorgeous ebony, curly maple handle, cue with an elforyn joint, and z rings! Two shafts with matching ringwork! I think he's asking $600.00 shipped! His cues play great, and for that price, highway robbery! His az handle is jbcustomcues. You won't be disappointed. :cool:

I have a wrapless 2006 Russ Espiritue at the bottom of your range that I had a brand new dynamite tip and ivory ferrule put on. Since I did this I have probably hit less then 100 balls with it.

The cue sports a gorgeuse curly maple sleeve and a bacote butt and fore arm. It does have about 3 dings but only one is realy noticeable. It comes with one shaft thhat is in good condition.
